Yeah, I think he's talking about Fatal.

The Lupe track is my favorite song on his The Cool album, and RZA's track is an amazing track from the not so amazing Blade: Trinity. This movie looks great. For some reason, in 2008, April is unusually stacked with anticipated films. I can't wait for this.

Yeah, Street Kings looks very good. Definitely going to be checking it out.

Nope, not that one. Sorry I meant in the international trailer.

Are you talking about that song, goes something like "I can't ever be put down......fight now" something like that. Haven't found a name for it yet

lupe fiasco and fatal in a movie trailer will get anyone pumped

James Ellroy scripted this! But unfortunately I saw that tow other people worked on the screenplay. Probably to chafe of the hard edges.

Trailer looked....okay. I'll wait for reviews.

Saw this yesterday.Early screening. Great. Fun as hell. Great dialogue.Keanu is a bad ass in this.

David Ayer told JoBlo.com that Fox Searchlight has approached him about the possibility of doing a prequel to STREET KINGS. Our man, the dashing and debonair JimmyO spoke to Ayer (full interview forthcoming), who told him that "I think a prequel is actually pretty interesting. Which is, what got these people into this situation. It may sound corny but, 99.9% of people get into law enforcement because they want to help people. And so you take that, bright eyed-bushy tailed rookie, and how does he become the Tom Ludlow."

I seen this last night. I liked every minute of it. Very good film. 8/10. Great action and great performances.

Just saw it and enjoyed it as an intense action movie. The performances are what made the movie, especially Forrest Whitaker and Hugh Laurie. When they went toe-to-toe in the office, it was simply a great scene! Even better than the shootouts. I do think that "Dark Blue" deals alot better with the issue of corruption than "Street Kings". I have to admit that "The Night Watchman" would've been a better title for the film.

Yeah man, Whitaker and Laurie are great actors. Really great performances.

This movie also had some good comedy moments in it. Everything fell in place pretty perfect.

Wow, I just got back. It blew me away by how much better it was than I was expecting. If anything stood out in this film, it was definitely the acting. Man, the acting was great. It made up for a slightly lackluster [blackout]plot twist (I saw the Forrest Whitaker was the bad guy from a mile away, though I did not know about the other team members' involvement, the undercovers that shot up Terry Crews, or that Hugh Laurie was actually on Keanu Reeves' side)[/blackout] for me. It's the best film I've seen so far in 2008, by a long shot.

Rating:

3 out of 4 stars.

Of course. Dumb ass teens will always give these flicks their profit.

When I was in the theater, it was not packed, and my friend and I were probably the youngest guys in there. Crazy how Prom Night is going to be #1 or #2, while Street Kings will be #4 or #5 tops. Teeny Bopper films, FTW...

I guess Prom Night will be #1 this weekend, Sarah Marshall next weekend and the following week will be a toss up between Sarah Marshall and Harold and Kumar, IMO.
