I watched this last night, I thought it was pretty decent.

But anyways, I had a question. When Coates starts telling Ludlow who they are, "Who are we? We straight nightmares...etc. etc." Then Disco freaks out and says "Hey, I know these guys!" (then hell breaks loose) What was that about? I mean if he had recognized them then their meeting wouldn't have even got started. Any ideas? Is there anything I'm missing from earlier in the film that would connect to this encounter?

He didn't know who they were, but he figured they were cops when that one guy said they were "Living breathing exigent circumstances" Cause only a cop would use that language.

Hmm, well it seems weird he would say it that way though still, like "Hey I know these guys!" I thought after that scene was finished if Disco mentioned something earlier in the film that would soon connect to those two guys.

Awesome scene. Common did well.
I love the look he gives Ludlow after he says "That was you, right..."

That was great.

Last scene with Common was probably the best scene in the movie. Movie overall was okay, nothing special.

Yeah the movie isn't really anything special, I thought the second half (or the climax started to get sloppy) but it had some good moments. Kind of a  :down movie. That probably was the best scene of the movie, and the liquor store shootout was nuts. Or absolutely ridiculous. Either way I keep watching it. :hehe:

I will say that I loved Keanu beating The Game with a phonebook. Another highlight of the movie :hehe:, I mean I love The Documentary but he gets a phonebook to the face for getting a butterfly tattoo by his eye. :whatever: :hehe:

I dig this movie. I'm getting it on my birthday next thursday, looking forward to seeing it again.

Saw this last weekend. Overall I thought it was decent... Reeves turned out a good performance, there were some really brutal scenes, and that nurse he was banging was hot as hell. The plot was fairly predictable though. Hugh Laurie pretty much played House, the Internal Affairs guy and Forest Whitaker did one of the most annoying accents I've ever heard on film. My only guess is he was trying to talk like a street thug but it almost sounded like a goofy Brooklyn accent (which would make no sense since they were in L.A. and had been for years).

I saw this movie the other day...Not bad...i`ll probably buy it
