Study reveals that bullies have more sex

“Manipulative and exploitative traits can lead to more sex”

This required a study?

My bully ended up going in and out of prison, so I don't want to think about his sex life.

Time to become a bully.

As a under sexed bully myself I find this shocking!

If sex and money were based on karma the world would be paradise.

Unfortunately, cold blooded manipulation and narcissism allows sociopaths and psychopaths to excel in both areas.

No one said there weren't perks to being a shallow meathead .

There have been perks since the cavemen era.

I dunno, people like Albert Camus and Frank Frazetta were not only nerd gods, they were sex gods also. Those are the kind of studs I genuinely respect. Not the cliche jock that conforms in every predictable way to get laid.

they needed to do a study to reveal this? this is nothing new

To be fair, it's cool to have some empirical evidence behind such a claim. We can infer things from what we know, but in order for something to become "canon" in behavioral studies I think a study is in order.

I believe this was conducted by so-called "evolutionary psychologists" who have been accused of having a partial bias to Social Darwinism. Empirical data from many of their claims are considered questionable. Of course, these are often from a case by case basis.

Yes, but articles like this are often written and aimed at people who wouldn't be aware of the two men you just mentioned. Click-bait drivel like this is just designed to raise eyebrows and perpetuate the culture of narcissism that magazines like Business Insider need to survive.

Plus, knowing from personal experience, I've seen first-hand that the artist and/or intellectual will almost always get more women than the meat-heads. Of course, those types tend to be as exploitative as so-called "bullies" but just much better at lying. The article should replace the term bully with narcissist but I suppose it's easier to dilute language for emotional responses.

Looks like my new years resolution will to bully some nerds

After reading the above, I have no doubt you're not one of the latter.
