Study Says Watching Porn Shuts Down Your Brain

A new study in the Journal of Sexual Medicine (via Huffington Post) says that pornographic movies actually shut down the part of the brain that processes visuals.

When a person watches a normal movie, blood flows to the visual processing region of the brain, but during erotic movies, blood flows to other areas of the brain (possibly related to sexual arousal).

This means people have a much harder time remembering things while watching porn, a sign that the body considers sexual arousal as more important that visual processing.

Actually alot of the martial arts fights with the human characters in the movie might give you one though. Final Wars is not just a Kaiju film. The director is quite known more for his martial arts action films and he does not disappoint in that respect with the humans vs. Xillians in this movie. Some of the fight scenes are just amazing. You should see the fight scene between two of the human characters on motorcycles in the movie. Really, it's like someone mixed a martial arts film with a Godzilla movie. Wish I could find videos of the Martial Arts fight scenes on youtube, but I can't. The fight choreography really is quite awesome.
