Gambit uses his bo-stick as often as he uses his cards. And Hawkgirl (like Hawkman) wields a variety of weapons, not just her mace. But that's not the point.

Your thread title suggests "stupid" weapons, not weapons that aren't used much or are necessary to the character doing something. (I mean, hey, any Green Lantern is powerless without thier ring, so that doesn't even make for a bad character.)

gambits stick is a stupid weapon in a way cause hardly ever uses it. he uses his cards for going at his enemies. what ever that thing is hawkgirl is carrying around with her looks stupid. looks like some toy off the shelf at toys r us.

And I've already said that Gambit uses his staff often, he's just more well known for using his cards.

Dude, Gambit is pretty skilled with the bo-staff, let's say he loses his cards and is confronted by a large group of anti mutant psychos, he can't have infininte objects laying around to throw. He could fight them off with the staff, I believe that thing is part of being in the Guild of theives.

Batman has the most stupidest weapons, they always resable a bat and always work perfect, and he carries like 5,00 different kinds of weapons in his belt, including every kind of repelent spray and an antidote to everything too, thats just dumb or stupid, to keep in the theme of the thread.

and superman's cape, correct me if im wrong like i have to ask for that, but what purpose is there for supermans cape?

I dont think any good hero has a stupid weapon. A stupid weapon would be like Dog Wielder's stuff, but hes a stupid character. Although many have admited that nunchucks (sp?) are actually really bad weapons, same for crossbows.

yes lots of batmans weapons are stupid. but he needs to defend himself cause he has no powers.

Nunchaku and crossbows are very good weapons and quite deadly although they do have their drawbacks. Crossbows were the beginning of the end of armor due to the fact that they would penetrate the armor and required very little skill to be deadly. Nunchaku generate a lot of force and are very fast but require a lot of skill to use (except on oneself ).
