Just finished the last issue of this 5 issue mini by Peter Milligan and Essad Ribic and this is a damn good read and very new, interesting take on the Namor character. I highly suggest picking this book up as it's must read material.

I thought it was great too. If they ever make a Sub-Mariner film, they should ditch the conventional "origin story" formula and just follow the template laid out by this mini-series.

I liked this (except for the ending) but think in no way should this ever be used in an film adaptation of Namor.

Yeah the art was good too bad Namor only made it into 10 panels in 5 issues

Why didnt you guys like the ending?

I also thought it would make a great film and would do something different with the superhero film genre.

(Not saying I want this to be THE Namor film, I'd still love to see an all out underwater fantasy trilogy)

plus it was one of those endings you could see coming.

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea Green pants Namor head!
