subscribed threads

for those of you who have subscribed to threads and have notifications sent to your emails, are you having any problems?

i have all the threads i'm subscribed to set to instant email notification. i've never had a problem with it before, but the past day or two at least, i haven't gotten any emails from the hype.

i've never had a problem before and when i log into my user cp, it still says i'm subcribed and that its set for instant notification. is there anything i can do to find out what's going on?

i'm subscribed to another forum and i've received my messages from that forum, like always, but none from the hype. any help is much appreciated

best guess is whatever email server the notices get sent to may have felt the large influx of messages from the same source were spam, and stopped letting them through. That happened to me with our Reported Posts notices last year, and Dew just recently. The only solution I know of is to just switch your hype registered email address, and you'll start getting the notices sent to another email.

well i switched to my yahoo mail, and it seems to be working now

but i hate yahoo mail. i get tons of junk and spam, so this'll work for now til i can find out what happened to my other email

you can always start another yahoo account, they're free. With no history, you won't get spam

Gmail rocks. It groups conversations, so when you directly reply to an email it sits in a conversation thread rather than just randomly lumped into your inbox. It also grants you access to google documents, calender etc.
