What DC version, i know nothing about that.

I wonder if they will make another Extended Superman 1 DVD with those in it, then they put it in the 14 DVD Box Set that is coming out this Year.

Man I would love that...I like the way the editing goes on those scenes...and though, it is a classic scene...I guess they cut out the robbery at the docks for tv

isnt there any extended scene with Miss Tessmacher ???

i loved that MILF back in the day and i still watch the movie and get goosebumps...she was HOT !!!

You mean where Otis feeds the Jaguars and another Scene where Otis Feeds her to the Jaguars, those two are on the Superman The Movie Special Edition DVD

I want scene 5--Thats my favorite from the tv version. I used to have it on beta..but it deteriorated and I couldnt copy it to dvd. anything with Chris flying.

I love seeing extra scenes of the Superman movies, they're my favourite films and any new images of Reeve as the Man of Steel I have to see.

Does anyone know if these scenes will be on the new version coming Nov 28--or is it just the extended version we already have and the theatrical release?? Of STM?

Now I'm confused. How many more extra scenes are there, that weren't in the last special edition?

A lot!...The movie's original cut before being trimmed for theatrical release clocked in at about three hours and some minutes...on the 2001 special edition we got about 15% of what we could have got

Wow I didn't know that girl's voice was so irritating (the one crying for her cat in the tree), I think they dubbed her for the 2001 edition.

No, it was the same way theatrically...and I believe it was a british girl dubbed over in an American accent...listen closely...in the parts that are in the theatrical version she is American, and the extra (undubbed) footage, she has the british accent...heh, even though they filmed that scene on location in New York according to Christopher Reeve's book "Still Me"...he also notes that as they kept doing the flying down and up shots...a kid in a window of one of the houses kept inviting him in for spaghetti...
