"Superman: Doomsday" was one of Warner Animation's top selling DTV's from the DC Animated Universe. You should certainly add that one to you list.

I thought it was pretty good. Though i know some probably didnt like them having to condense/remove things from the actual comic.

You gotta remove it mentally from the comic we are all familiar with then you'll enjoy it. I think Daniel Baldwin's Superman is right up there with Tim Daley's only he's got more balls to it. It also has without a doubt the 2 greatest Superman battles to ever appear on film.

I enjoyed it. As has already been noted, you need to look at it as being very loosely inspired by the story arc from the comics rather than as a straight adaptation.

It has great action scenes and the most twisted depiction of Lex Luthor put on screen to date. Adam Baldwin does a great job voicing Superman. Anne Heche does a very breathy, staccato rendition of Lois Lane's voice, obviously going for a bit of a His Girl Friday vibe. I found it jarring at first, but came to like the performance on a second viewing.

I'd give it a 6/10.

Great fight sequences, and writing.

Anne Heche's voicework as Lois is horrible. She gets the most focus in the film and that kills it.

It's sort of hit or miss. Some parts are really good, some parts are awful. The animation of Superman's cape was one of the awful elements that really stood out. And Anne Heche almost singlehandedly ruins the entire movie, and her voicework is indeed really bad.

The action between Superman and Doomsday makes it watchable.

I was really disappointed.

Rent it before you buy it.

Ya im planning on picking up Batman Beyond:RoTJ, First season of sensational spiderman, and green lantern. Ive read the movie got a sort of mixed reviews. I guess ill see what the price is and see if its worth it, thanks guys.

I like Superman: Doomsday a lot. But you should know that it's not an exact adaptation from the comicbook at all. It's inspired by it but there are changes, for instance there is no Justice League.

The story is good and there is heart to it. I just wish it was a little longer to flesh it out more. The fights are awesome, and the animation is very good, IMO. You really feel for Supes when Doomsday is beating him and when he 'dies' in Lois' arms. But I didn't like those lines on Supie's face; it made him look old. :csad: I also didn't like Lois' voice. It sounded too fake sometimes. Lex was good, but some of his lines were bad; he sounded too homo a couple of times.. :cmad: The score was ok. Wish it was a lil better.

I give it 3 star out of 5. Very solid animated movie. I totally recommend it, especially if you're a fan of The Man of Steel.
