Superman: Doomsday

Superman Doomsday. Im just wondering is Superman Doomsday worth a buy? I have yet to see it yet Im gonna go on a dvd buy to pick up a few animated dvds so Im just wondering if I should add this one to the list. Oh btw sorry if this is not the place to post this.

This is the comics section. A better place would be the Misc. Superman Films or DC Films forums, but that's alright.

I actually really love Doomsday (I love all four of the DCU films so far), and recommend it. They significantly condense and alter the story, but that's to be expected given that it's a three part story being squeezed into 75 min.

I think the funeral and everything was better in the JL episode Hereafter, but the actual fight and death sequences with Doomsday work pretty well in this version.
