World SUPERMAN Marathon on ENCORE Action channel

While watching stuff on the ENCORE Action channel today, they had a promo for a SUPERMAN marathon. On Saturday October 16th starting at 8pm they will show all 4 Reeve SUPERMAN movies with Superman I being the extended version and Superman II being the Donner cut. They also will be having actor Marc McClure (Jimmy Olsen) hosting it and talking about the movies.

Sounds interesting. I like behind the scenes info given by the actors, and it's always nice to watch the movies. No word yet on if they will be shown in widescreen or fullscreen (but ENCORE usually shows things in Fullscreen).

Recently some channel had a "Villainous Voices" or something going on. Needless to say, I had a healthy dosage of Lester cut Superman II. Guess I'll be treated to the Donner Cut now (yay, there won't be any randomass superpowers)!

Good news.....letterbox editions.

Bad news....the McClure introductions are about 1 minute long.

Seen the intro for Superman 1 and 2.....nothing really to it. It's nice to have them on in the background at least.

Also, the Superman films are on Netflix instant queue! It's a good month to be a comic book related property on Netflix.
