Give me a break! There has been NOTHING exciting that has been shown to fans regarding this film....and i mean NOTHING.....

I talk to people at work regarding movies coming out this summer...and most haven't heard of a new Superman movie coming out.

I'm sure the people at McDonalds aren't the best when it comes to movie news. Love their fries though!

They probably won't know until 3 weeks before the movie comes out?? Is that a way to generate some excitement and intrigue?? No....but showing lame photos of a Superman Monopoly game is?? Yeah...suuuuuure....

As been discussed ad infinitum, the strategy is to suddenly 'hook' people and barrage them with promo to where the movie will come out right at the height of their excitement and interest. They won't be tired of the constant Superman exposure yet and will flock to the theaters.

Kirbyfan, the most successful films find a connection with the audience.

Ask yourself this; have you ever travelled in an airplane, looked out the window and thought,"if something goes wrong I'm toast". I sure have and I venture a guess that I'm not alone.

So what would connect more with an audience; Superman punching Darkseid or Superman rescuing a plummetting plane full of panicking passengers?

Well said. It's a very real connection with people, because everytime we get on a plane we know that something could go wrong, and despite the movies, know that chances of surviving a crash are incredibly slim. Superman punching Darseid through a dozen skyscrapers would be cool to see, but doesn't resonate as much; Singer is doing the right thing. We can wait to see a supervillian in one of the sequels.

In what they are smart? They didn't realese new poster, we had only this stupid logo!

They didn't make full trailer with 2:35 lenth, and they are not going to make a lot of tv-spots as I can understand now.
