I think Snyder will have him somewhere near Pre Crisis Superman. He might tone down some of his lesser user powers but I think he will be pretty powerful.
I certainly dont want an All star Superman powerlevel that pissed me off whilst i was reading the book.
Why? I could see why you might dislike it for a Superman film, but it worked perfectly in the book.
Standing face-to-face like gunslingers. And then they both blast away with heat vision and walk slowly toward one another, with the energy at the center growing more unstable and intense the closer they get.
Comic forums like CBR *********e to the Sentry and Silver Surfer. Yet these same fans will whine that Superman is too strong. Yet they love Gary Stu's like the Sentry.
You're not tired of seeing that in every other sci-fi or fantasy movie? LOTR, Star Wars, etc? I suppose they are so powerful that as they get closer an explosion sends them both flying backwards, too?
Meh, it just doesn't interest me. Give him superpowers, obviously, but create some logical limits. A lot of shows have a "Bible" that sort of establishes the limits, and I think they need to do this right away with the new Superman. Write out exactly what his levels are so that future movies consistently show it.
The problem with it was it made Superman seem damn too Godlike-added with the fact he was morally perfect.I like Superman not Godman.I was able to look past this off course and enjoy the story but I just never saw the hype with it.I would never give this book to someone who says Superman is overpowered and too perfect becuse this book does othing to change their mind
No.With the exception of All star,I have hated every Godman story. I mean great Superman stories likeA lot of the great super man stories do seem to revolve around him being god like however. His powers are almost a curse in a way that he has so much burden to do everything he can to save the planet, however is it is responsibility to try to save everyone at every time? So those are sort of god like questions.

Same here.Well, going from the SDCC, after Superman is thrown into the bank safe, US soldiers are then seen surrounding him. I assume it might have been a missile or something that knocked him into it. Rather than Zod. So, if he's strong enough to survive a large explosion, for a missile or tank, but still get a bit winded by it, I'm cool with that. Seems like a good middle ground, IMO.
Not necessarily. I challenge you to propose your own superpower-displaying scenario. I look forward to reading it.
You don't think professional writers could come up with something a bit more original than just standing there shooting a beam of energy at each other? I would like to see something with a bit more strategy to it, or real, genuine struggle.
