SyFy’s Being Human

I would say this season is the best one after Season 1, the whole thing with Aidan and his wife Susanna should be pretty intense, imagine if he has to kill her to end her pain... really tough situation indeed.

And we're back... And so is Zoe. Yay! This "Buffy" situatiin is going to totally go nuclear in Aiden's face. As for our super pumped up Josh... Hmm... Doctor to the monster set? That would be interesting, and... Human. ;)

I also feel that
the Little Blackie situation is indeed the overarching arc for the season that will snare all our special friends into it somehow. What ever is going on with Beatriz it aint kosher that's for sure. It might even explain why that little Boston brownstone is the center of such weirdness and attracted Josh and Aiden in the first place. I also would like to add that I love Aiden, but I just rolled my eyes at his "you can't kill people just because they drink blood" defense. Yeah, dude... don't play the pedantic semantic card, okay? It was brutally honest that he admitted he may slip again in the future, but that little aside was just dodging the truth at it's finest. Still, that all in our merry band are not Mary Sueing it up is one of the show's strengths.

This was a great episode. I think this was the first time I enjoyed each of the side stories. I hope we get to see more of the wolf couple and I'm curious to find out what's wrong with Josh. Not surprised Aidan told his girlfriend...though she's likely about to die soon because of that. Also glad to Sally's friend again...can't remember her name, but I like that she's back.

The psychic nurse is Zoe, CH. From the start of the season I think the show has shown that it is in the zone. Things feel very well oiled and the fact that we keep seeing threads, ideas and character stuff from the previous seasons being picked up and expanded upon is one of the elements in the show that makes it so good to my eyes. Zoe confronting Sally about her "Sally-ness", Aiden admitting he probably will kill again [BLACKOUT]and what is up with the 2 ghost girls that used to haunt him?[/BLACKOUT], and Nora and Josh's pregnancy... Well I like when the writers of any show don't forget the past that brought the characters to where they are now.

Last week's episode was pretty strong. I like the way this season is shaping up, especially Josh's story. I can't really get behind Kenny running Boston for so many reasons, number 1 being the character annoys me to no end.

I think that Aiden is the strongest character on the show in many ways, but that they often give him the weakest stories that have the craziest impacts on him. I guess there is an inherent problem with writing the "good" vamp storyline. Ah well. I was hoping for some more fireworks, what with Aiden's wife showing up, but that seems shelved for right now. That's coming back though, it's just got to.

Poor Josh... Now he aint even got a job. Still... I would love if he became Dr. Quinn to the monster set.

Sally kind of does need to leave **** alone though. It never ends well.

I'd somewhat forgotten about that. Maybe it was resolved off-screen and they just have brought it up yet, or decided to drop it and hope everyone forgets.

The pregnancy is almost certainly going to be impact later in the season.

Almost done with tonites episode but it's safe to say this season nothing is ever forgotten by the writers.

i was waiting for josh to go half wolf to break up that fight but it didn't happen. :(

i wonder if he'll try to become leader of that pack.

I'm surprised that couple with the baby were cool with meeting up with the pack to turn with the baby (I assume it was her first moon turn). I guess they trust themselves and the other wolves from not killing the baby wolf?

Wolves are VERY protective of their young. In an established pack, everyone gets to raise the pups.

And just because, here's my wolf/husky hybrid:

Beautiful dog!:wow:

Was it a rescue or did you pay for it? I know those wolf hybrid's cost an arm and a leg normally.

My wife's friend/co-worker knew my wife has always wanted a Husky type dog, and that friend's friend owned the parents of our dog and they had puppies.

We got him at the "friends and family" discount of 50 bucks. :woot:

Thanks!

You are a very lucky person! I hope to have one some day. Right now I just dont have the space to raise one.

I have felt the same way regarding Kenny, but I have to admit that last night's development with him and Astrid is intriguing to me, and I'm a bit more interested in his journey as a character now.

I was also really surprised to see Josh and Nora joining the pack at the end of the episode. You just know that's not going to last!

Josh feeling challenged by the "pack leader" made for some great stuff, as did Kenny an Aiden looking to reconnect. Sally of course "Sally-ied" it up again trying to help out Josh's sis.

Am I the only one that sometimes gets a whiff of Lady Macbeth with Nora? Can the writers please get a consistent handle on her please? She ran with a pack before and that ended badly, but now she's again being tempted by the Darkside?

Aiden had me really worried about what he is going through. He is an addict, not just to blood, but to the power and control and excesses that go with it. His break up could be trigger. Him wanting to compel his ex is not a good sign. I'm happy they keep reminding us that realistically there is nothing "romantic" about being a vampire. Sally saw this first hand on her little trip.

This brings me to the moment that I really disliked, and if the writers pursue this I am not sure what I would think, but no, just NO to Aiden and Sally hooking up or getting romantically involved or what ever. Please, no Mitchell/Annie crap.

Great episode. This season is on fire. Again this is the first season where I've enjoyed each of the sub-plots. Sally is eternally bound to rush ahead without thinking. Aidan being drunk and talking about vampires knowing karate in the 80s was hilarious. I'm also enjoying Josh this season more than usual. He's not as annoying because his whining is at a minimum. I'm glad he told Sally off. She needs to be told off more often. I wasn't too keen on Josh and Nora meeting new werewolves at first, but I like where's it's going now. I want to see more alpha tendencies from Josh. Now his wolf is closer beneath the surface I expect to see that more often.

I'm half hoping Josh wakes up from running with the pack having torn apart Captain *****e-Wolf and now taking his place as leader.

Also, does it seem to anyone else that there are WAY too many wolves in Boston now? I mean Josh rarely met other wolves and now there's a pack about a dozen strong?

I'm more curious about who attacked all these people? Seems kind of sudden and coincidental that a group of them were all attacked like that.

I actually want Josh to take over the pack. I like the idea and it would give him a different vibe...

Hmm... Maybe *****e-Wolf is being built up into a WereWolf Bishop? He's attacking people on purpose to build his pack? Just a thought. Hey, what's up with Josh's search for a scientific cure? He had all that equipment in storage and the notes of that old wolf he killed during a vamp "dog fight". You'd think that would come up again. Oh well.

Also, Sam Witiwer is such a joy to watch whenever we see him in different time periods. He's so versatile. His "evil" Aiden is a thing of beauty.

I was a bit confused at who could or couldn't see Sally at the party... I thought all wolfs could see her, but no one else seemed to even notice her, or were they just ignoring her?

given that there was a whole party of people who could potentially see her, I expected her to be mingling, an enjoying it (as she doesn't get a lot of opportunity's to interact with some many people)

I loved when he started singing. That was creepy as sh*.

Yeah, they are a bit inconsistent on that. Though in the beginning did Josh always see Sally? I don't remember now. I sort of remember him not always seeing her.
