SyFy’s Being Human

Sally is the Lucile Ball of Being human and Aiden is Desi Arnaz. I'm gonna miss those crazy Sally hijinks.

Frelling trains in NYC. I had to leave early from my place to barely get to my job on time, and from the reactions here it looks like this was an interesting episode that I had to miss cuz of service changes making me leave early. I hope they on demand it before Tue nite. Sounds like "The Sally-ing" is going to continue until series end. I'd love if like in the last episode a door appears before Sally, Jesus busts out and drags her in and says "Look kid, nothing personal... But I have a schedule for the Apocalypse, and with you around down here I'd have to get to it way sooner than is necessary."

I wonder if he he remainder of the series takes place
in the alternate timeline Sally created

That'd sure be a mindf*** lol

Donna did say that she kept on going back to the day that she died multiple times. So I guess Sally can just wait it out

Man that last episode was depressing.

I should've known when everyone was happy at dinner everything would fall to pieces in several minutes.

Things could've kind of worked out if Sally didn't dump Aiden. wtf?

I don't like this depressing ****!:waa:

My day is off to a great start.

I loved it. So epic and DOFP like. Sally actually reminds me of Kitty Pryde too.

Though they'll probably never go full DOFP like they did in the BBC series with George and Nina's daughter, sadly...

I wonder if they are going to end the show with Sally setting everything right? And I mean everything. Sally stops Aiden from becoming a vampire. Stops Josh from being bit and all that good stuff, or if she will just set the timeline back to normal with Josh and Nora moving on with their married life. Aiden and his wife moving on to have a life and Sally going through her door?

I doubt they'd do a full-on reset of everything. The second scenario seems much more likely.

The second scenario is the one im hoping for with one amendment. I forgot about Sally's brother. Im guessing she'll reunite with him at the end, and they'll go through their doors at the same time of swoosh off to be ghosts together.

On another note, Ive been thinking about it, and while Im certainly upset that the show is ending, I think the writers have set this up as the last season very well. It doesnt feel like a sudden cancelation now that Ive considered it and examined what is happening in this season. It feels like the character's are in a natural place of moving on with their lives. Their experiment of Being Human has reached its next stage. Im really gonna miss this character's tho. Especially Sally. She is a hurricane of cluster****s, but its hard not to love the character.

This last episode was filled to the brim with bitter sweetness, but it was soooo good. This really is the season that almost nothing is forgotten.

Seeing all the actors brought back and their characters was a trip down memory lane for sure. But the way this episode was done all around was great. It kinda does seem like it's a spin on "the war child" arc in the BBC show only in a less epic kind way, and that's ok for me.

And we'll be getting Bishop back in the next episode too it seems. Man... Full circle.

You gonna go back in time, you go full Biff Tannen. You go bet on a few important sporting events. Make a few key investments. :D

Also I'd like to see a Sally ghost that is still a werewolf, Ghost Wolf!!

:nono:

Things happen for a reason, that's what Sally is learning the hard way. She tried to change everything and it backfired like a witch, some things are just meant to be. The best you can do is learn from them and move on to be a better person. But hopefully, the guys will get some kind of happiness at the end of it: Aidan and Suzanna together again, Josh and Nora solving their issues, and Sally finally crossing over.

Sawyer??? Is that you? Did you have a little work done. You look much less like a middle aged angry man.... and I don't like it. :csad::o

Wow...just caught up on the latest episode and it was tense. The way they filmed it made it very tense and I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. Knowing Sally I figured it would drop sooner rather than later. I like the direction they are going for the ending of the show. Only five more to go...

I knew from the start Sally would somehow be involved in it all going wrong even as she seemed to be correcting the past "mistakes" that were made. Now there are only a few episodes left to undo what's been done and end the show. Should be interesting.

I couldn't believe how insistent she was on trying to make everything the exact same. Yet, now that she is a ghost I'm wondering if she'll get her powers back or return to present time after she's made the changes?

If she bounces back to our present then she should have the powers back. As a ghost in the past she was unable to use them. So she'll have to find a way to return to regain those powers.

I'm betting we'll see the present altered by her changes and her return of powers and trying to fix her previous fixes in the next two or three episodes.

So, basically...
1. They've known for over a year (presumably since the S4 pick-up) that this would be the final season, but for whatever reason, had to keep it under wraps. Thanks, Syfy.
2. There could've been a fourth and a fifth season, but I guess when Universal bought the show, they cut the budget down, so they decided it would be best to end it on four. Thanks, Universal.
and 3. According to Witwer, this season "wrecks the car" and "if you're gonna finish a show right, you shouldn't be able to continue the show".

Wow...that's interesting. It should be a wild ride then...

Thanks for posting that Sawyer!

This info does soften the blow some. Still, I have to ask, how expensive could this show really have been? This isn't something that was really all that effects heavy, was it? Sure, there were SFX shots in every episode, but it's not like they were doing starships floating down from the stratosphere or FALLING SKIES style fully rendered CGI aliens that always have to be rendered when they are on screen. It's a little depressing to think this show was too expensive in any way.

It sounds like a dark or grey ending for the series. It could be they are going to have the happy, "everyone's human again, yay!" ending but "wrecking the car" sounds like either everyone dies (in this case, they all go through their doors) or things go so catastrophically wrong they can't ever be together again or something to that effect.

In Aiden's case he gets a door. Who knows. My point was that everyone dies.
