I'm thinking of getting one...(some saving up to do)...so anyone here who actually has one who can tell me if it's worth me getting it?

i know someone who had one and didn't like it and got a blackberry instead

but i also know someone who adores it.

imo, don't get it unless you're going to use it for the features it highlights, cuz if you aren't using em, its kinda no point in having it

the g1 phone seems like its geared specifically to those who need the internet around a lot. it costs about 20 a month for this service

Yea the battery life is a bit crappy. A lot of the apps are free. I like the one where u can record any music and crop it to use as a ringtone. The app that lets you scan any barcode and it pulls up anywhere in your area or online that you can get it cheaper has been doing me good. The fact that it is a touch screen yet still has the regular keyboard is also something i am very fond of

The ringdroid app is great, put any song on your phone and make any part of the song your ringtone..
