I was thinking of getting this after reading about it in the latest TigerDirect catalogue. Can anyone who has used it tell me anything about it?

You could also try Ubuntu, it is getting VERY popular as the Linux distro of choice, and it is a free download.

Or you could download the Mepis Live CD and boot into Linux from your CD drive and give it a test run without having to install anything - I keep a CD handy in case windows crashes or my ISP is failing - using the CD means that their network is having issues and not my computer.

I am not a linux guru at all....Ubuntu installed flawlessly in VMWare...
