But they don't "have" to steer away from what happened in the last ARG just for the sake of trying to be original. Right now it's all about what we think they will do. Besides, Comic Con is a great opportunity to do a little $marketing$ and I doubt WB is gonna miss that chance.
 
Hello there, everyone! I followed the last ARG. And when I saw the Bane picture, I started going through the webpages again, and I noticed that most of the phones went to people in this forum. I want to be more involved this time around, so I thought that I'd join SHH to hopefully do so.

Guys, before TM shuts this down, I just want to say thanks for blowing this thread up. When I first made it, we didn't even know the title, and as anyone can tell you I was all over TDK's ARG, even if I didn't get much of the cooler swag. The Hype! has been my home for almost 6 years and I've enjoyed every bit of the time I've spent here, and now I really feel like I've left a mark of sorts. I only ask when this thread is "rebooted" that it be renamed the "TDKR Viral Hunters Thread" (thanks for the idea firstclassclown!! :hoboj:) and I look forward to continuing this journey as TDKR gets closer.

I was just referring to at comic-con. I was responding to a comment regarding being misinterpreted about what I believe will happen at comic con.

I agree. Hathaway will appear in the outfit before the end of the year. In fact she'll be on the cover of most film-magazines in December. Warner are not going to pass on the opportunity of displaying Hathaway in a cat suit; it's a highlight for a lot of males who don't care about the next batman.

SDCC is waaay too big for them to miss. I would definitely expect something to go down then.

I think I may be one of the few who, despite the events of a few weeks ago, believe we will not be really getting a viral like last time. I think that when they want to reveal stuff, they will do it viral like the pic of bane, but I doubt there will be games and all of that. Next time we will get anything will most likely be during comic con. I think it will be few and far between though.
 
So what's going on? Any interesting developments happening yet on virals since the Bane pic release?

Kevin Smith: The trailer could just be someone walking out and writing "Batman" onto a chalkboard and we'd all go nuts.

On one of his podcasts, Kevin Smith said; "Nolan could come outside of his flat and just say "The Dark Knight Rises" and take a fart, and they (we) would all cry in excitement..."
 
ComicCon surely wouldn't be wasted, it's too big as Anita says.

This 'fake' FB site does have a bizarrely large amount of Spanish people though....just saying!

TOTALLY. I was there that day in '07, and they decided to do it DURING the WB panel LOL. SO me, like probably a lot of other people, missed it because we were expecting something IN the panel. That is my one giant beef with how the last viral was done :-)
