Plot

For most of their lives, Souichiro Nagi and Bob Makihara have been able to take over a school by fighting and beating everyone. Their first day at Todou Academy started as any other new school, they start taking it over by beating up everyone that got in their way. Not until Maya Natsume and Masataka Takayanagi showed up did they realize that this was no ordinary school. This was a school where people have powerful techniques and uncanning skill. They also learned that the ruling Enforcement Group, lead by Mitsuomi Takayanagi, is not to be taken lightly and are not tolerant of their disturbance. In order to get back at the "Enforcers," Souichiro and Bob join the Juuken Club which is the only surviving group that opposes them. The more the two groups interact, the more they begin to realize they are trapped in a conflict they know little about.



i just watched the entire series (only 24 episodes) and i have to say its one of the best animes ive watched to date and it also has one of the most fight scenes EVER.t:

I liked it. It was okay, but Bob being such a jobber turned me off. I wonder why he was ever put into the anime if they were going to make him so useless. Its just like Tenten. Why create them and never give them even ONE moment in the spotlight. Even jobbers like Chad, Yamcha, and Usopp have had their time to shine. Whats the deal here? Couldn't he atleast get revenge for his girlfriend being raped?!!!

Tenjho Tenge is just one of those shows... One of those shows created by Oh! Great, that is. I cannot get over the fact that Oh! Great is a successful mainstream manga writer/artist, but he's also a hentai manga writer/artist.

I've seen the show, but come on. I've read Silky Whip, I think I'm cool on that front.

Basically, he has just a little restraint in his mainstream titles, I guess.

I like Air Gear better than Tenjho Tenge, anyway. Although there's hardly any actual fighting in it...

Tenjou Tenge on the other hand was terrible. I hate it. The plot makes no sense. And why the hell does Maya blame Mitsuomi for what happened to her brother? She's a ****ing ***** and a ****e.

Yup. No one in the show is likable or actually a good person at all.

Except for maybe Masataka. I don't see why Mitsuomi is such a bad person. But what happened to him was not his fault.

He SPARES Maya's brother out of love and respect FOR HER. And then when he turns around that murdering, psycho bastard STABS him in the back. Not only that, he gave Mitsuomi a terminal injury that is slowly killing him that Mitsuomi attained because he was there trying to HELP Maya. And Maya blames him for everything and killing her brother, when her brother was the one that KILLED HIMSELF?! What a crappy ****ed up show and story. I hate all these characters.

The anime adaption of Tenjou Tenge has the same problems that Berserk did when it was released, the anime producers should of kept with the manga and produced more episodes in accordance so it made sense. TT's ending is not that great and it just leaves things hanging, even when you watch the OVA's that were released to 'cap it off' it's still left hanging because the story keeps going after that and what we are left with is basically the first chapter of the story. Berserk had these issues, but the story concluded because it worked with an arc.

I believe Maya is the lavender haired older Natsume sister.

I think Maya deep down loves Mitsuomi. But she is too much of a ***** to let her brother go.

Souichiro loves Maya, but may also like Aya as well. Aya is mad for Souichiro and considers him her husband.

And yes, Maya is totally a bloody ****ing ****e and a *****. It's her fault her brother went crazy. It's her fault for her brother dying. And it's her fault that Mitsuomi became a bastard and started becoming terminally ill. All the problems in the show are essentially Maya's fault.

So basically **** Maya.
