I was just curious to see if any of you who have kids, or may be kids yourself caught the one hour pilot of Pair of Kings.

It aired in the US on September 10th, and was pilot was watched by 4.1 Million Viewers and is scheduled to make it’s Canadian television debut tonight - Friday September 17th.

My nephew Ryan Ochoa is an actor on the show and I am a more than little curious about what people think about it. So if you have any feedback I would love to hear from you.

For those who have not seen it here is a little about the show:

Pair of Kings is a Disney sitcom aimed at a younger audience and is about about a pair of orphaned fraternal twins Brady and Boomer (Mitchel Musso and Doc Shaw), who are being raised in Chicago by their aunt and uncle.

Life is normal for the geeky pair as they are picked on in school and are rejected by girls until they are approached by three large men in traditional island garb. The leader of the island visiting men, royal secretary/man at arms “Mason” (played by Geno Segers) tells the two kids that their mother and father were actually the king and queen of Kinkou, a remote island nation, and now that they are of age they are the rightful heirs to the nation's throne.

Once they arrive to the island courtesy of a hot air balloon ride they meet the island inhabitants including the shows co-stars. A pretty young girl “Mikayla” (Kelsey Chow) who is, diligently watched over by her very protective, blade wielding father “Mason” and their new found cousin Lanny (Ryan Ochoa).

They also soon find out that the island is full of surprises and are regularly almost the victims of mysterious “accidents,” which in realty are devious acts of sabotage. Most of the boys brushes with disaster are courtesy
of their disgruntled cousin Lanny, who is motivated by the fact that if not for the arrival of Brady and Boomer the island throne would have been his.

Now if all manner of odd customs, superstitions, exotic and sometimes deadly creatures were not enough for them to get used to. The kids new residence is also offering up a side dish of dark supernatural forces.

If missied the pilot episode but are still interested in seeing it. I hear that it is available as a Free iTunes Download. :yay:
