Terminator 5 idea

Do a 2029 movie with the war from the beginning of T2. See if that works. At the end Send kyle through time vs a T-800. One giant loop.

yea but whats up with the 2 T-800's from T2 and T3, plus the T-1000 and T-X

The intention of the "reborn" Terminator trilogy was never to have Sam Worthing in all three, even before they changed the ending. Originally, it was just going to be Christian Bale playing Sam Worthington's character in movies 2 and 3, so either way Worthington was going to be out. Just let dead characters stay dead, I say.

Idk why everyone is talking about rebooting the franchise, its completely not necessary. From what ive read the proposed sequel ideas sound pretty interesting, its rumored that Linda Hamilton could possibly have a larger role in the 5th and actually be on screen. And the actor who played T-1000 is also rumored to be returning. McG here http://terminator-5-movie-trailer.blogspot.com/

states that John Connor would very well travel back in time which is very interesting.

Lets not give hope just yet for the franchise.

Sorry, but the only way to do a T5 is to show what needs to be shown.... a full-out, in your face actual WAR with the machines.

T5 should just be an advert telling you to go and watch the first two and be f***ing happy with what you already have.

It's too bad we will never ever know what James Cameron would have done with these last two Terminator films.

We do know. He wouldn't have made them. Just like he hasn't made the last two.

Cameron had ideas for a potential T3. He mentioned it in a recent Q&A but his heart wasn't in it. There was a lot of bad blood between him and the producers of T3 because of the way they acquired the rights.

Was that why he wore a t-shirt on the set of T2-3D that said " T3 not with me"?

(or something along those lines.)
