I still wouldnt say that it did that that bad. Especially compared to Last Stand and Sabotage.

If you have to start with, "it didn't do that bad", that is usually a sign. :funny:

Sabotage was bloody awful. Did not care about Arnie's character or any of the other a**holes on his team.

Sabotage was a bit of a mess. Arnold totally felt so out of place. Even SAM WORTHINGTON acted circles around Arnold, who just couldn't keep up with the others. Not just with the action but the dialog.

It looks like they're only considering the good Terminator movies canon.

from what we know...Kyle arrives in 84 where Sarah and pops have been growing up together and we know that that pops fights with the original 84 t800.. which results in the events of the 84 movie not happening..but we also know that in its place is a T1000..how or why? not sure..but we also know that Sarah and Kyle time travel forward where they meet up with an older Pops..so what i wonder is..did they manage to take out the T1000 in 84 and then travel to the future or do they escape the T 1000 by using time travel which results in him to just like Pops wait around for them to turn up again in the future.

His last couple of films were ok. I liked seeing him do something different in Sabotage. His next film(Molly) could be more interesting. I wouldn't mind seeing him return to the Predator franchise , but not Conan. He doesn't have the star power he used to , which is a shame because he was always one of my favorite movie stars.

After reading that script review, I can see why Megan Ellison took Annapurna off Terminator, and possibly her name. It's not because of 'branding'; I think she knew it wasn't going to hit its potential and she wanted out, while her bro David stayed behind.

That's what I've been thinking for a while now honestly. She saw how things were going and said "**** no, I'm not putting Annapurna's name on this picture!"

I skimmed those spoilers, not much but enough to know if it is true this is definitely going to be a twist for the sake of a twist plot ending and that it might be the end of the franchise unless Cameron comes along and erases it with a new, superior movie.

Who else kinda cringed when Arnold walked out of that car in the Super Bowl commercial? It felt like he struggled to get out due to old age!

It seemed odd to me too, sort of like the car was CGI or something, I need to watch it again because I couldnt put my finger on it either.

Him getting out the car wasn't at the right tempo with the teaser. I think that's my reasoning behind why it looked off.

Probably that just what it was, also I'm struggling to believe in the shot of Emilia Clarke being able to support Jai Courtney's weight over the bridge being held by Arnie at the same time. Linda Hamilton in T2 yeah maybe, Emilia hmmmmm.

I feel like, a shot of Emilia supporting a big dude like Jai, is so cliche ridden that if I was the director, I would've rewritten that shot out of the script. It's at a parody level like walking away from an explosion without looking back that you can't do stuff like that anymore. Stop it with the cliches, Hollywood. People are too conscious of it.

"We just had to go fingering the Devil's *****!"

Greatest line of dialouge ever.!!!

That and probably the fact that Annapurna has Always been about indie movies.

Edit :
Also this is probably the first Terminator movie since the first movie where ILM didn't do the VFX work

Of course, but I think she didn't have an issue putting the Annapurna banner with Terminator at first. I think the 'spin' was (and it was logical) that her type of branding is more of the indie variety, so that was a great scapegoat.

Arnie just showed up in classic Terminator gear on the Tonight show w/ Fallon

pretty cool

Maybe he moved like that because he is playing a robot, an aging & obsolete model of course.

I understand the skin aging, but his bones are still metal, DUDE!

So it was liquid metal guy, then female liquid metal then Asian liquid metal?
