Terminator: Genisys - Part 4

After hearing those darn spoilers, man just leave my terminator alone. There are no Terminator films after T2.

And what is this obsession with
turning John Connor into a villain. They tried that garbage when writing Salvation too

It stinks.

I didn't see him as a villain in that one...

For me I still view Terminator as a trilogy. 2 classics and a mediocre 3rd.

I didn't see him as a villain in that one...

In the original TS script they were going to put Connor's skin over Marcus and MarcusConnor was going to go evil and kill Kate and others.

See, I don't mind the idea of John Connor being a Terminator. But merely a Terminator and Skynet using Connor's skin to trick everybody. There can still be a real John Connor, I just like the idea of a Terminator with a John Connor skin running around very interesting.

I'm sorry I wrote it wrong
I meant that original version of the script where john connor got killed and a terminator would be the leader of the resistance wearing his face. I hate this idea of not making John Connor the man.

That doesn't sound like ''fun'' to me.

I still can't believe this movie is real:funny: I must have stepped into another dimension where it's okay to make weird "fan fiction" movies like that.

I want to see:

- A Batman movie where Thomas Wayne dodges Joe Chill's bullet, breaks his arm and says with a growly voice: "I'm Batman". And then, he rips his shirt open and reveals the bat-symbol. Bruce Wayne becomes Robin instead.

- A Star Wars movie where Darth Vader survives and does father-and-son stuff with Luke Skywalker. Fishing, horror movies, baseball etc. At the end of the movie, Darth Vader tells Luke that Leia isn't really his sister.

- Rambo died in the first movie. The last three movies didn't really happen...it's all in his (dying) mind.

All of the prequels were an illusion by Darth Vader. Abrams will time travel back to show the real story.

Darth Vader is not Anakin Skywalker or Luke's father. He really did betray and murder Anakin just like Obi-Wan said.

Luke and Leia are not brother and sister. And Luke's real father? Interstellar ladies man Han Solo. Han was sent from the future by old Luke. Just accept that this doesn't make any sense. In The Force Awakens, we see what causes Luke to send Han back.

The supposedly happy ending in ROTJ? Yea, **** you. Luke's little smile at the end. The smile of victorious pure evil, as he was already possessed by the ghost of Palpy.

Darth Vader is just a robot controlled by the real villain: Obi-Wan Kenobi:wow: he faked his own death in the first movie.

That's the big twist in episode 8...Palpatine was only Obi-Wan's apprentice.

:wow: that's disturbing...

Luke: "Obi Wan? But...but...I watched you die!"

Obi Wan: "Obi Wan died with Liam Neeson in episode one! You can call me...(scary voice) Darth Satan!!!"

Somebody wanna transcribe the spoilers from that review/session? I don't have the time nor interest to listen to them.

It's about 3-5 mins in the podcast. It doesnt take much time.

Sarah Connor was also a Terminator, she just didn't realize it.

Did anyone else enjoy all 4 films like I did? The original is obviously great, 2 is my favorite. 3 is good enough and Salvation I actually really liked a lot.

I think the latter two are enjoyable in a 'I'm bored on a Saturday afternoon' kind of way.

That's a good way to put them

I'd put them up there with Spider-Man 3 X3 or the first Fantastic Four movie in that I don't like them, but they arent offensive to me. At least when I remove my fanboyism and just look at them as movies. I can turn on FX or HBO when Im bored and watch Salvation or T3.

They arent horrendous movies, imo. Not good, just middle of the road bad.

Look up what became of those poor Ewoks. :csad:

Oooooh I like this idea of reimagining our favorite movies in a stupid fanfic way.

I want to see a Superman movie where we learn that Jor-El was actually a genocidal maniac who is the one really responsible for blowing up Krypton and he sent Kal-El away with the hope that he would find a new world and destroy it.

If true, they actually found a way to make the story more convoluted.

Fast and the Furious: Generations Its the year 2025 and new models are out, but the new generation can't hack it. They decided to time travel to the year 2001 and learn from the older generation.

How will changing the time line effect the future?

You know... on its own, that's an actually interesting idea. :o

It'd make a great Elseworlds tale at least.
