Did anyone else enjoy all 4 films like I did? The original is obviously great, 2 is my favorite. 3 is good enough and Salvation I actually really liked a lot.

The first two are all time classics, I actually did like Rise Of The Machines too, it had plenty of action and the story didn't stray from the original premise even adding new stuff like Kate Brewster and the TX going after the future lieutenants.

With Salvation I've only seen it one and that was in theaters, I bought the Bluray cheap but haven't gotten around to watching it, but I remember it being decent.

Thank You, I mean nothing against her, she's on a hit show (as for why? that's a mystery) not because of her acting but because nerds make GOT a hit. She's pretty sure but in Hollywood pretty girls are a dime a dozen.

Oooooh I like this idea of reimagining our favorite movies in a stupid fanfic way.

I want to see a Superman movie where we learn that Jor-El was actually a genocidal maniac who is the one really responsible for blowing up Krypton and he sent Kal-El away with the hope that he would find a new world and destroy it.

That would sort of also be an else wheres Dragonball story

The 3rd and 4th aren't terrible by any means but they are coming after 2 all time sci-fi greats and can't really compare. Doesn't mean I would drop any of them during a marathon viewing. But I'd love if we could get one more film that could somehow measure up to the earlier ones.

OT: I mean I think she's REALLY overrated and GoT is too. But Im not gonna say that GoT is a hit because of nerds. That's just silly. It's a crossover hit. It's not just us nerds watching and liking it

You can watch T1 and enjoy it..you can watch T2 without having watched T1 and enjoy it, but you canter watch T3 without having watched either of the earlier films and think that it resembles anything that of a quality movie, T3 is such a bad movie.

T3 was just a sloppy remake of T2 with Kristanna Loken in place of Robert Patrick.

funny how they said at the podcast that everyone on set thought Clarke was really bad, I finally got my friend to watch GOT and the other day he turned around in the middle of Clarke's scene and asked 'do you think the crew members laugh at her acting behind her back?'

I dont get why that's a bad thing. People leveled the same criticism against TDKR.

I mean it's cool when you can watch a 2nd film without watching the first, but Im not going to hold it against a sequel if I hadnt seen the first one and I dont understand all the callbacks, story, and stuff to the first movie in the series

And I disagree with you. I do think you can watch T3 and even TS without having seen the first movies. I just wouldnt recommend it at all.

I've never had an issue with Clarke's acting on GOT... I think she got a little annoying in Season 2 because they constantly had her running around going "WHERE ARE MY DRAGONS?!" but that's the writing more than her performance.

That said, I don't like what I see from her here at all. She doesn't come off very believable. But it doesn't help that they had to shoehorn in an old Arnold line in the first scene we see her.

I thought that Clarke was fine in the trailer. She did a pretty good Linda Hamilton impression. I expect her, Jason Clarke, and Storm Shadow to be fine. And Arnold is well, Arnold. My one big question mark in the main cast is Jai Courtney.

See most of the people that I've talk to really seem to like that part of the trailer. They also like the "I'll be back" thing, Storm Shadow as a T-1000, and Jason Clarke. The things that they're not sure about are:

-Some of the dodgy CGI (although they might not be finished yet).
-The "Old" Arnie thing (I'm taking a wait and see approach on that one).
-Jai Courtney (agree on that one).

Well, to each his own... I certainly want Emilia to do well here (I like her) but I'd be lying if I said I liked what I was seeing here.

I'm sure Lee Byung-hun will do a good job (guy is great in everything) but I'm not sure that will matter much. You know he's 44? That dude doesn't age.
