I wonder if that's the look for the 2014 Terminator, or he's just wearing the jacket over his own clothes (the t-shirt and other jacket, I mean).

It's all getting very exciting now. :D

Arnold is looking good for this.

I think if they can pull this off it could be really good, but they have to stay on top of the story they are trying to tell, we will see.

Yeah the old man looks great for his age hope the movie turns out good
watch t2 the other day and IT'S STILL PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!!

These Arnold pictures are several years old. Do an image search on Google, the ones of him in a leather jacket go back to at least 2010.

Drew McWeeny describes a Terminator: Genesis scene at 6:39 (Spoilers)...

Can't wait to see how that plays out.

Yup that's a shot from the first day of filming.

Nope, it's from Lunch - September 26, 2010

Unless Arnold has gone back in time to film this, which may be true at this point.

OMG, now I feel dumb about those pictures. No wonder there's so many of them and they just started the shoot.

I admit what Drew said intrigues me more. I'm very interested and it sounds unique to Terminator.

I liked Drew comments on the 'Outrage machine' in how we get so hyped up over things that end up being trivial or just small (social media), thank to the media…and a movie like 'Ace in the Hole' can make us understand news better.

If Drew said is correct, I think they'll have to archival footage to make it work. If they just reenact stuff from the old movies, I think it'll lose that punch. I just don't know how they're going to do it, even if they use exact footage from the first two, will they use body doubles with CGI faces for certain characters for the extra scenes?

And by the sounds of it, the 'current' Arnold won't be hiding his age too much.

Wow so a ton of news sites are posting those pictures all over the net saying they're from the first day of shooting and they're from 2010?!

Yes, it shows how BAD the online discourse is for news and misinformation.

I don't think they'll use old footage because it sounds like a legal and technical nightmare.

They'd have to get the rights to use it but how much can they use? If they use too much wouldn't they have to credit James Cameron and the original team? And they'd have to freshen the old footage up.

They'd still have to recreate scenes with Jai Courtney and Emilia Clarke anyway.

It sounds like a mess, and most likely they'll have to just reenact scenes from the old movies. But by doing that, it becomes less impressive. If they could use archival footage and make it seamless with the new scenes, then that would be remarkable considering the time gap.

It would be impressive but it's also a bigger mess than just redoing him.

The were looking for 1980s looking punks in their casting call.

Since this might be a reboot/sequel, can we please get Bill Paxton to make a cameo as a character who gets killed off by the Terminator? Pretty please?

Aw, I got fooled by the photos.

I have failed my family. :(

That would be awesome, along with a Michael Beihn cameo and maybe even Lance Henriksen.

I'm obviously pretty excited for this,I love the franchise/Arnold is back/Has a pretty good cast/Have SOME faith in the director and I really dig the BTTF 2 scenario concept

I just hope that they actually use Brad Friedel's ****ing theme. its a classic and was severely missed in the last two movies.

They used it in the credits for T3, should have used in the opening.

I don't know why they didn't use it for Salvation. So many references to the previous films but no main theme. Elfman's theme wasn't bad but other than DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN added in, it wasn't Terminator.

So, is this film a reboot? A sequel? A Prequel? A Requel?

Requel in Star Trek style seems to be
