I think that's because it's part of plot with the multidecades timeframe of genesis.

Men like arnold don't want to be seen that old.I am sure in reality he may be dying his hair and it's only because of film that he allows himself be seen with gray hair.

I don't think it was his absence that doomed Salvation. It could have worked without him but they made a mess of the script so even his inclusion wouldn't save it.

I generally find Salvation better than T3, so I have to disagree here. The lack of his presence wasn't a big deal for me.

The plot for Genesis sounds more appealing. And indeed, I have to say Arnold will add pizazz, regardless of his age.

I tried to watch Terminator: Salvation recently, I could not get through it.

Its only redeeming quality was Anton Yelchin, a movie with more Yelchin would have worked better.

I always wanted an older Connor that felt like it was the Edward Furlong Connor grown up but not quite at the stage he is at when we see him in the flashback in T2. Has there ever been good manips of Furlong as a post judgement day Connor?

i don't get the hate for Salvation. i personally liked it and wish they would have continued on from that film.

Yeah put me in the Salvation is better than T3 camp, at least with Salvation it tried to do something new and not repeat the same scenes from the previous films.
