Text To Speech, the greatest fun ever on a computer?

WELL!!!


Just found something new to do at work. If you go to the control panel feature on your computer and click on speech or the voice icon you can bring up a computer voice that talks. I made mine say RANDOR!

if you have xp click start, control panel, speech icon, then text to speech tab, and type in whatever you want the computer to say.

For a while, yes, it will be the funnest thing to do.


When we were messing around with it, our friend was passed out drunk on the futon...and we tried to use the monotonous voice to program him to become a murderer.
We made it say:

"I...will...kill...the...next...beautiful...woman...I ...See
"I...will...kill...the...next...beautiful...woman. ..I ...See
Beautiful girls must die.
I hate beautiful girls. I need to see their blood.", etc.

He came home the next night and said "GOD I hate my ****ing girlfriend!" and we cracked up.


Also, we were drinking and we had plans to Rock out, watch videos and drink and air guitar and Rock the **** out drunk....and we knew our neighbors would complain as it got later in the evening, so we made the Robot voice say threatening things about slaughtering our neighbors if they ever knock on our door, and stuff like "If you call the cops about our music, We will pull out your eyes and make you swallow them.", and then we cranked it up to maximum volume.


This was alll so hilarious to hear the calm, friendly robot voice saying these horrible things at fullblast loudness. hahaha
