That Guy With The Glasses

Well, the people who post on TGWTG's forums can get a bit... clingy, shall we say? Declaring crushes on her and generally acting like drunk guys at bars when the cute girl looking at grad schools walk in.

Then people started making fanart of her. Now plenty of it is perfectly fine, but... well... Google Image Search "Nostalgia Chick" with the safety off and see what you find.

It was enough to make her seriously consider quitting her job. And really, after seeing that one particular image, I don't blame her for thinking that.

Oh, that's just creepy. :csad: I won't even ask what that image was, I'm sure I can guess. And I wish that I could not. I don't blame her for being freaked out by that, that would unsettle anyone. Sadly, that's the curse of being in the public eye.

You always get some people who don't know the difference between "Fan" and "Stalker"

I also read a blog post she made about a student of hers (she's a teacher assistant, I believe) that was killed in a car accident. It really threw her for a loop and she didn't feel like producing very much new stuff.

Their best stuff comes from these crossovers.

Man I'm glad they included Phelous for this. He's really become one of my favorite reviewers for the site.

Eh, it's taken me a while to warm to him, his style never really clicked for me. Though I do like how he's being used in the crossover. And the butter knife gag in his latest bit was gold.

What's really a shame is that they can't get CR in one of these things, just because he never shows his face. I highly recommend his review of "The Man With Bogart's Face"

Gotta love Spoony's overacting when the Critic confronts him. It's perfectly over the top. :p

My only nitpick would be that when he said "There is no try" he should have followed it up by saying "Do or do not do":awesome:

C.F Kane said:
The guy can cook a good ham.

And don't forget Nostalgia Critic channeling Christian Slater with his raspy "Sometimes we all need to give in to the madness" line. :awesome:

I loved Linkara's freak out as well.

Which reminds me, everyone go watch Spoony's review of Strike Commando

And the crossovers keep rolling out.

I love anniversaries!!!

Damn I love Spoony and his commentaries, but his video with Benzaie seems kind of dull to me. Loved their chemistry in Spoony's vlogs last year, but not big on this years video.
On the othe rhand, Angry Joes new Hotel Awesome was awesome. I was on the floor after Gay Benzaie dance.

Kickassia is all kinds of awesome. I hope to god they put it out on dvd...

Am I the only one who thought the Sarah Palin gag was a bit played? I mean, I'm all for bashing Sarah Palin, but honestly that bit would have been dated even if they used it in the first anniversary.

Although if the sketch really is highlighting a subplot where the Nostalgia Chick implements her own personal coup-d'etat against her Spear Counterpart, then I'm really excited.
