This Ron Paul guy seems pretty interesting, I look forward to seeing what his views on the Fed are.

I am going for Mitt Romney because he is a man of consistency and integrity...! :awesome:

Rick Perry looks tired from the bashing he is getting from Romney, Bachman, and Santorum

During the breaks, Fox news talks about the word clouds.

"Look! Marijuana, its one of the biggest words here, lots of people interested in marijuana!"

No questions put to the candidates about marijuana.

Gary Johnson got a lot of laughs with his neighbor dogs story. And Johnson himself saying he would like Paul as running mate. :yay: hell yeah.

Rick Perry's still too radical. (And I'm glad everybody ganged up on him)

Rick Santorum's still an attack dog.

Mitt Romney's still playing it safe with his answers.

Michelle Bachman's still trying to keep her momentum.

Newt Gingrich's still irrelevant.

Ron Paul's still trying to be an attention wh*re.

Herman Cain's still a funny guy.

And I still don't know who the Hell are Jon Huntsman and Gary Johnson.

If Ron Paul can't make the nomination, Obama will obviously be re-elected again rather than have another wild Republican in the White House.

First debate: Audience cheers executions

Second debate: Audience cheers letting an uninsured man die

Third debate: Audience boos a gay soldier in Iraq

Wow, you tea-partiers sure are a class act.

I was one of those citizens leaving America Ron Paul says. I'm temporarily living abroad because that's where the job opportunity was. His answer on the topic was spot on because he got to talk about devaluation, the Patriot Act, legal immigration benefits and the 10th ammendment, all in one reply. I think he would own Obama's a$$ in a debate.

Kudos to him for clarifying his stance on abortion too. I think millions of pro-choicers will feel better about him now.

Amazing thing they had Johnson in the debate too. I think they tried to use him to justify cutting more time off Paul's, and they even tried to pit Johnson against Paul with the 10th Amendment question. Johnson didn't take the bait, big fail on FOX's part.

Although, he may have single-handedly destroyed Obama's political career with the neighbor's dogs pun. It was a bit cruel, but that kind of thing sticks.

Reverend Wright doesn't destroy Obama, but a quip from a fourth-tier GOP candidate at an early debate does? It was a good jab, but I think "single-handedly destroyed Obama's political career" is more than a bit of an exaggeration.

America has got to learn how to take a joke.

It wasn't "the audience" it was a few people in the audience. Lets be real here guys. And last night, it was a very, very, very small part of the group that booed the gay soldier. The only people who would take that and acredit their behavior to "the Republican base" are people who already held that view before the debate. Lets stop these idiotic partisan games guys.

The biggest winner of the debate was Gary Johnson, who could easily jump Jon Hunstman as the third-tier candidate with executive experience. Johnson's dog line gave him what Huntsman has been trying to do for four or five debates now, a memorable joke that distinguished him. His emphasis on a balanced budget (which I think he mentioned every one of the five times he was asked a question) will help, as will the fact he wasn't asked about legalizing heroine. He is the top trending topic on google today.

Newt is (quietly?) tearing up these debates. I have had several people tell me recently they are supporting him now.

And I can't fathom how anyone would call Ron Paul, the only politician who doesn't put himself on the cover of his books, an attention ****e.

I didn't watch the debate but I saw on CNN they were talking about the audience booing a gay soldier. That was disappointing, yet I kind of expected it from this type of crowd...

I find it abhorrent that people would boo anybody, regardless of your views, that wants to serve in the military. It makes no sense to me at all. It's not like the people are wanting to go join club med or something for the fun and money. Sheesh!

Because everytime he's out campaigning or doing a debate, all he does is go "Look at me! Look at me, everybody! I'm Ron Paul! I'm Conversative! I'm SO Conservative! I'm the most Conversative candidate out there!" Yes, Ron, we get it. You're the personification of extreme liberty. Enough already!

It makes me want to take a shot of straight tequila everytime he repeats how far on the right he is more then whenever Romney says his "My record as governor speaks for itself." line.

Ron reminds me of that kid in school who tries to be cool, but everybody just winds up ignoring him.

The truth is he is a sad, old man who is out of touch with America (and reality for that matter). His Iran / Muslim comments render him totally unelectable. To his credit, his supporters are intense, but they are very few.

Caught the highlights this morning. The takeaway?

-Rick Perry cannot beat Obama. In fact, he's his own worst enemy at winning the nomination. It should be easy, but after those huge stumbles, I doubt he's going to maintain his comfortable frontrunner status for much longer.

-Mitt Romney is hiding his flip-floppery behind Perry. Clever, but he won't have it in the general. Then again Romney has a much better shot at the general just by running on the economy and the added bonus not afforded Perry...he ain't crazy.

-Did Perry sound like a liberal on immigration? Good answer, but wrong crowd.

-What's Gary Johnson doing there? Seriously, you can't run for president in starts and stops.

My thoughts.
