The 4400 - Season 3

Does anybody have any info on the creepy lawer-guy? I can't remember exactly what he did in season two.

But as far as I know he walked in slapped Isabell and gave her the needle. And told her something important. What was it btw?

Matthew Ross

Matthew Ross (Garret Dillahunt) is a lobbyist in the Collier organization who joined The 4400 to advise Shawn Farrell after Jordan Collier's death. Ross was intent on carrying out Jordan's plans for The Center, even if it required manipulation and working against The 4400s themselves. Ross is just as ethically gray as his predecessor ... and as driven.
His objectives are still somewhat unclear to those around him, including his unknown and seemingly questionable intentions towards Isabelle.

SEASON THREE TIMELINE

Being Tom Baldwin

Showering Isabelle with gifts (in what almost seems like a bribe) Matthew attempts to give Isabelle advice on how she should proceed with Shawn.
The New World

Matthew returns to The 4400 Center after finding it difficult to lobby on behalf of the NOVA Group

Infuriated by her recent suicide attempt, Matthew visits Isabelle, telling her exactly who she is and what the future's plans are for her.

Matthew has a strange phone conversation about someone "being back" only to be interrupted by Isabelle. He gives her a syringe of white liquid, explaining that if she uses it, it is the only thing capable of killing her.

SEASONS ONE AND TWO TIMELINE

With Shawn in danger of being overwhelmed by his 4400 Center commitments, Matthew arrives to get The Center in order. It's clear from the beginning that Matthew intends to govern the day-to-day operations of The Center and manipulate the direction it ultimately takes.

Richard and Lily discover Ross and his team of doctors performing tests on Isabelle. While Lily is infuriated, Ross has an easier time convincing Richard, explaining that Isabelle's brain functions exceed those ever thought capable by a human being.

We don't know what he has said to Isabelle at this point. He has told her what she is expected to do. What her destiny is. Clearly these are evil things, because Isabelle set about dsicovering what good and evil was to prove she wouldn't do evil things.

We probably won't find out what was said for a good many episodes yet.

Next week's gonna be pretty interesting!

I got really sad over Maia's being erased. Poor Diana. I hope it works out and Maia's returned, but after Lily's death I think all bets are off on who survives and who doesn't these days. :(

On a totally unrelated note, I'm looking forward to Richard telekinetically kicking Shawn's ass when he finds out about Isabelle's "extracurricular" activities. ;)

This Maia being erased is just a punch in the gut for the week wait for the next episode. They already ruined the surprise:
Diana is yelling at someone about why did they erase Maia and how she wants her back.

And TheCorpulent1, that show was the greatest show ever and needs to be on dvd already.

That's a good point, but
Diana yelling about Maia
is a long way from a surefire bet that Maia will come back as we know her and everything. The 4400, if nothing else, tends to be a show that evolves a lot.

Heh, it's funny how many Invisible Man fans keep popping up now that I've got a sig from the show. :) It's actually already out on DVD, it's just not out in region 1, which is weird because it was an American show. Brits and all the other Europeans can have a merry old time watching it, though. Jerks. :(

Good point about the not coming back. But it is somewhat than Maia gone and no one running around trying to find her.

I think Invisible Man fans moved on to other things easier because the show did get the ending it deserved. So we all pull a Diana and forget about it until it comes up again.

I have a feeling Rich might not have to , especially if Shawn decides to break up with Isabelle . We've seen what happens when she gets angry. She left that one dude bent out of shape , so to speak:)

That's a possibility, too. I don't really see why people hate the actress who plays Isabelle so much, myself. I think she handles the zero-to-sinister-in-under-sixty-seconds bit pretty well.

Is that the new Invisible Man? The one where the put some kinda Mecury gland in a former criminal?

Not really new. It's from 2000. But yes, the premise was that this scientist got his brother out of a life sentence in prison by making him the guinea pig for a synthetic gland that could secrete a substance called Quicksilver, which could bend light and effectively make things invisible. Unfortunately, there was a side effect--the Quicksilver induced madness in its host if it saturated the bloodstream too much. So after his brother died, the criminal Invisible Man was forced to reform and work for the government in order to get regular shots of a counteragent that would stave off the Quicksilver madness. He grows to like being a spy for the government and his quirky partner Hobbes and a wonderful show is born. :)

Anyway, about The 4400... uh... Alana's really hot.

there was this one episode i remember about some girl who had burns on her body and she fell in love with invisible man. or something like that.

Hmm, I don't remember that one. Fawkes got loads of poon on the show, though. There was Kate, the scientist chick, and Allianora, the chick from Chrysalis who could shoot water out of her mouth, for starters.

Good call. I got the first season already and I'm about 70% into the second one. It stands the test of time quite well.

Damn you guys and your ability to get the show!

Anyone read Maia's Journal at the Official Site ? It looks like she got sent back in time & is now on The Oregon Trail with her Powers

is anyone else kind of grossed out about the whole Isabelle/Shawn situation? I mean, technically she's still a child. UGH... dunno, it's just a peeve, I guess, but it's bugging me.

as for this week's ending... HOLY F**K!!

i wanted to see her turn back into a baby during the act :D LOL

I must admit, it's a bit disturbing. I don't know what to make of it. Shawn should know better, though.
