The resorts really freaked me out, more on them having no information about it than anything else, but I've read up on Chernobyl. That place is a wasteland.

Any guy should know this, the first time you walk into a girlfriends house and it's a dirt hole, NOW THATS the creepiest place in the world....(well at that time it was)

I used to work as a tour guide at the house in Georgia that Tara from Gone with the Wind was based on. That place has serious activity. We'd be there late at night me and my friends that worked there talking in the upstairs rooms and we'd always hear footsteps on the stairs and no one else was there.

I think one of the creepiest places I've ever been was the catacombs in Paris. http://www.catacombes-de-paris.fr/english.htm. and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catacombs_of_Paris. "Arrête, c'est ici l'empire de la Mort". Entering into them after seeing that was enough to get my knees shaking.

What other people call "creepy" I call "intriguing." I would love to visit those places. I'm not saying I wouldn't be scared to be left alone in some of those places but I'd still do it.
