So what is the deal with the TinTin movie ? Do we get only the first part "Secret of the Licorne" or "Red Rachkam's treasure" is also scheduled ?

The poster looks good.

The environments look astoundingly real. But we need to see more of the faces. Other than that glimpse of Tintin at the end we didn't see them.

That's why it's called a teaser

Wow. I frakking loved that trailer, but I guess I'm biased toward the film by now. Just wish it has teased some of John Williams' score as well.

In a few minutes I will post cleared up/sharpened 1080 screencaps.

why couldnt they show one short close up shot of Tintin talking?so after 2 years we still dont know if the animation will work or not.

there was no buildup.

Not going to lie, that last shot of Tintin creeped me out.

That shot of the car driving under the camera with Tintin in the background on the street is so gorgeous it almost looks like a painting.

They're combining The Crab with the Golden Claws since Captain Haddock's introduction in the comics will be the same for the movie, The Secret of the Unicorn and Red Rackham's Treasure although they're not including Professor Calculus despite him appearing in RRT.

And the animation looks great, although I need to see more of the facial movement of the characters, but this is a teaser so it's fine of what we got.

Well, we saw how good Rango looked via ILM, and WETA seems to be pretty much on par. That shot of the Professor pushing old boy up against the wall looked very realistic.

Wow, the teaser was amazing! I was completely blown away by it. The animation looks great, though we probably need to see more footage to judge it. And I just loved the shot of Dupont and Dupond watching Tintin between the newspaper.

Although I would like to see some more footage, this footage will suffice for now and I'm waiting eagerly for the next trailer.

I LOVE that teaser trailer. Probably best teaser trailer I've seen all year! I'm so excited for this movie...the Tintin books were some of my favorites as a kid

If the music we heard from the teaser is Williams' it sounds great, but I wish they would include intro music from the 90' show, I'd freaking love that. I watched the teaser for the 30th time. It really does feel like Hergé's art comes to life.

Empire has the teaser with a different opening scene and ending with a voiceover by Daniel Craig (I'm not sure if it's Craig, but it sounds awfully a lot like him).

After watching the teaser several times, I'm not sure this is the best way to introduce the character to the america audiences since the teaser emphasizes atmosphere over anything else. And it doesn't really help that few people in America have heard of the comic.

But since this just a teaser, of course, it's understandable. I bet it will be even better when the next trailer released.

Yeah I wouldn't worry, I'm sure by the time the next trailer comes like most of the time it'll focus more on the story and the adventures, I mean they're combining the 9th, 11th and the 12th adventures so they'll have a lot to show off next time. And I can't wait to hear how Serkis sounds like as Haddock.

I certainly hope so.

Anyway, I was worried if they drop the subtitle The Secret of the Unicorn since both the teaser and the posters didn't have it. But when I checked the official international site, it have the subtitle. Funny thing is that the America site doesn't have it.

So they probably promote the film simply as The Adventures of Tintin in America and the full title for the other countries.

the Emipire opening was very good. i like how Spielberg starts with the legs to introduce TinTin.

.

You're saying Golden Crab and Red Rackham will be merged into one film ? That makes no sense to me.
No Prof Calculus doesn't bother me as long as the shark mini sub is there ( must be there it is an iconic TinTin vehicle ).
