Well given his track record in most alternate realities, we're in trouble.

He dies in the large majority that he's featured in, and then they alluded to New Son killing a bunch of random Alt-Gambits during his solo book...

Since it seems new codenames are being given. I looked up Revenant as I was curious which was Rogue. Heres what Revenant was defined as...
A revenant is a visible ghost or animated corpse that was believed to return from the grave to terrorize the living. The word "revenant" is derived from the Latin word, revenans, "returning",
So I'm guessing Phoenix's new codename is Revenant and Rogue's is Reaper. From the definition of Revenant I'd like to say it's Jean but with Hope being so fresh and marvel trying to give her some spotlight it wouldn't surprise me if its Hope. Berserker may very well turnout to be Warpath since new codenames seem to being given.
I may have missed something but does anyone know if this is an alt. reality? I remember with AoA that all the books change with it but it seems with this all of the books seem to be continuing their storyline at the same time.

lol...Konami should work with Marvel so they can put him in the next MGS game as a bonus skin. Can you imagein playing a stealth game as Remy? That would be so cool

I have no problem with Logan being absent. He's one of my top faves, but he's already in too many books as it is.

I'm glad Logan is absent as well. I like Wolverine don't get me wrong but as stated previously. He 's in some many books already. Actually the 3 central characters in the xbooks aren't featured. No Cyclops,Emma,or Wolverine. Though I get the feeling Basilisk can turn out to be an alternate Cyclops.

IDK... Hellion is up to date with his current 616 standing, and Carey's been writing Magneto and Rouge for awhile (and interviews have said that Gambit's going to re-enter that picture soon enough)... And Carey's never really dealt with the Alt-Realities (that I can remember, anyway).

I feel like there are definitely going to be 616 characters present here. Maybe the poster who mentioned it being from a "potential future" is right?

Though obviously unlikely. I'm just hoping that him being in the front of the promo shots isn't just a red herring like it's been for most of the last year (Gambit appears in promo pics, never in the story).
