I know there is a thread about someone making a superhero called Renegade. I'm making my own thread so he I don't take the focus off his character in his own thread.
This is a superhero I'm currently working on. I have a basic plot outline and hope to write a full feature screenplay based upon it soon. This is a comic book-like cover of The Aggressor I'm working on. It's not done yet.
The Aggressor is about Samuel Shelton who's mother died at his childbirth. Part of her lifeforce spilled into him. He grew up with his father, slowly realizing he was gaining weird and intresting powers. One day, those powers really frighten him, and he stops focusing on using them.
25 years later, Samuel is working at a construction site in Falls City, a place of corruption, crime, and poverty. He has a daughter, and a drug abusing wife. He ignores her cries for help. He has forgotten the powers he tried to develope when he was a kid.
One day, his wife jumps off his construction site and kills herself. He's left in depression, the only thing keeping him alive is knowing he has a kid. And then he remembers.
Slowly, but surely, he turns to his comics for inspiration. He makes himself a suit. He begins to understand his powers, which is the ability to control electromagnetic fields. He can also fly, but not in the sense we know of. When he manipulates these fields and he can pull or push them from his body and he needs something to navigate those fields to make his powers work. So if he needs to fly, he has to find a building to manipulate the negative space in order to take off. Essentially he's pulling the magnetic fields to him, but as he's doing it on a building that is structured to the ground and won't budge, it makes his body fly forward. Kinda complicated lol.
He also has a natural strength that is greater than others.
That is all I'm going to reveal at this time.
