Between my friend and I, we have written several of our own superhero stories over the years, the occasional one criss-crossing with each other. Well, we decided to combine a bunch of them together into one story, where they all team up to form the Code of Heroes group, to fight a mad scientist that is somehow turning all the world's heroes into mindless zombies as his first step in taking over the world. These are the Hero stats for the main characters. Let me know what you guys think:
Shadow Dragon
AKA Seth Banno
Backstory: Seth is a genetically altered young man that has grown into his superhero status through destiny, and his will to do what he knows is right. His powers are all natural for all it’s worth. They are genetically created, as he was, in a lab by a evil corporation trying to create super soldiers, but not one was created after he was born. Now as he lives with his Gothic Girlfriend, he has fully grown to control all of his powers. He is ready to completely engage the enemy with a fury matched only by his hero name ‘Shadow Dragon’.
Powers/abilities:
Strength – Seth’s strength are not super, but it is enhanced naturally beyond those of regular weightlifters.
Smoke Teleportation – Seth has the ability to teleport anywhere he wants to go. When this power is active, clouds of smoke appear and he can walk through and appear in the area of his choosing.. This also affects a car that he would be driving at the time. It takes concentration for this ability to work.
Martial Arts – Seth is a skilled martial artist. He doesn’t rely on any weapons to fight crime, but will use a sword and 2 guns if he ever needed them.
Ghost
AKA Alexandra Petrie
Backstory: At the age of 10, she was murdered by a bullet through the head. But for some odd reason, destiny has allowed her to resurrect herself. She awoke with psychic abilities that has given her the status as a ‘living ghost’. So she has taken to her code name. She lives alone in her house, that has grown to be haunted with the horrors of her past. She ‘haunts’ the place, and has learned to control her abilities.

AKA Scott Short
Backstory: When Scott was a teenager, he got sick of all the crime and corruption in his town and made himself a costume to hide behind and fought against it. Years later as an adult, at the peak of his fame and well-doing, he was ‘killed’. However, he was only majorly injured but used his ‘death’ as a cover to relocated to another city and take on a fake name so he could retire. However he came out of retirement to train a new Hero.
Powers/abilities:
Like Batman, Nightshade has no super powers beyond his own intellect and normal body, however he is greatly trained in the arts of Tae-Kwon-Do, and is a crack shot with guns, and he has a Tech/Inventor by the name of Leonard Pothier that makes various inventions and suit modifications for him.
Arch Angel
AKA: John Clark
Backstory: After testifying against his parents’ killer in court, his fiancé is murdered. Living his life in anger and regret, a retired Scott Short begins training John to fight against the injustice in Archeron City. During a battle with a robot army, he gets a jetpack in the shape of retractable angel wings fused with his back.
Powers/abilities:
The Angel-Winged jetpack allows him to fly, but he does have limited fuel he has to keep filled. He is very strong and as he is trained by Nightshade, he is also trained in martial arts. He also has a small laser cannon attached to one arm, and he wears a helmet that as a retractable visor, and this visor can be used to give all sorts of readings and information, and can connect to and search the net quicker then the average computer.
Shiva
AKA: Allison Luk
Backstory: Developed mutant ice powers at puberty and ran away from home when her parents got scared and was going to send her to a lab. While living in the streets and on the run, she was recruited into a group of other Ice Mutants, all with various powers of their own, and she quickly discovered they worked as a Mercenary group, offering their services to the highest bidders. Deciding to leave them, she needed the help of Nightshade to get out from under their grasp and her along with fellow member Chill went their own ways. They keep in contact but keep their powers on the down-low.
Powers/abilities: Can freeze any object into pure ice just by touching it, or by shooting white mist out at it from the palm of her hands.
The Incredible Slushie-Man
AKA Jeffrey Long
Backstory: Leader of the Slushie Bandits team, however at the start of the first story, his other team members will have already been Zombiefied. He works at a grocery store when he isn’t fighting crime and was on a work field trip to a slushie factory when there was an accident and his blood was fused with slushie material, giving him and his friends special slushie powers.
Powers/abilities:
Due to the accident, his blood is now slushiefied, and is different flavors of slushie, each with different effects and powers. He has wrist shooters in the shape of slushie cups that are rigged to fire the slushie material, each with their own effects, and he can choose which kind to fire by a switch on the shooters. Has jet boosters on the back of each leg, also in the shape of slushie cups, to allow him to fly.
