How did Odzy make it or being there? Something I didint get.

He explained it. He got a bunch of artists, writers, and scientists to make it, then had them all killed so word wouldn't get out. The creature had the cloned brain of a human psychic so it was able to telepathically insert horrible images/feelings into everyone in the world. So, Ozy just teleported it into New York, it goes kaboom, and millions die/are mentally scarred.

They never did say where the human psychic was from though did they? That was something that always made me turn back the pages to see if I had missed something, I only remember that brief scene on the island with the missing writer and the painter girl as they were leaving. Real trippy, sci-fi **** right there. I dont really think people who havent read the book yet will be ready for that out of no where. Just reading the book and I wasnt really ready for that.
