I think that Endsong would make an amazing movie. It would have to be tweaked a little and Minus the Shi'ar and Kid Omega. It would have been cool as X3. The reason why it could be bad for X4 is because it could be too much Phoenix(Although she was barley in X3 and it didint really focus on her) Does anyone else think it would be cool?

not really. she did her part in X3. its done.

The overwhelming opinion at this site seems to be that every time any character dies they should always be brought back...

So maybe you guys want Phoenix to die in a huge cry your eyes out scene in every movie???

That would be GREAT for the franchise! Completely devalue the concept of death!

I just said today in the theater to my friend that Endsong would have been a great choice for a movie. I thought it was actually going to happen at first when Jean and Scott first saw each other......

As for Jean coming back to life.. she does it a couple more times anyway.. atleast in the comics she's always dying and coming back from the dead. If they continue on in the X-Series.. I'm sure she'll return.

Yeah...andf every times she dies in the comics and comes back it devalues the original Death Of Phoenix story even more...

Hell, Reed Richards has come back from the dead a few times...so technically he should be able to in the movies...so lets have him die every movie and inexplicably return.

Just because its happened in comics doesnt mean it should be done in the movies.

Phoenix is named Phoenix for a reason. When she dies, her body and mind repairs itself in the White Hot Room, only for her to rise from the ashes. It's who she is. I don't care if the general public find it cheesy or if it devalues death. The beauty of Jean is that death is nothing to her.

And, when she comes back, Scott's cells should be reattached and what not.

I would love to see Jean rise up from her grave and have her toss around Wolverine. (She'd be looking for Scott, not for energy, but Jean can sense his mind...alive). I would want moments in the film where it appeared she was about to lose control but then contained it before Dark Phoenix was unleashed. That would be too redundant.

Okay bobby...so the drama of whether or not Jean would die is obliterated...no more worries about her charcater...

or Scott either since you want her to bring him back to life whenever he dies in the films...

Or Xaviers since he can transfer his mind at will...

Are there any other characters that should be immune to death or do you think the films should maintain SOME sense of drama?

Why are you acting so suprised that people want to see Jean rise from the dead?!?! It's her power. Just like everyone wanted to see Storm fly and see Iceman ice up, fans want to see Jean show her true powers in the form of ressurection. Scott was never confirmed dead and Xavier is alive at the end of X3.

Death isn't the only thing that causes drama...jeez

Its an action series...and the risk of action and fighting is...ultimately death...

take away the possibility of anyone getting killed and theres no reason to have any suspense regarding the action...

But let me put this to you another way...

MY Jean Grey died at the end of the dark Phoenix saga and never returned. I stopped reading X-Men comics the day they slapped me in the face and brought her back to life. I havent read one since.

Now, the Jean Grey who DID come back to life was never Phoenix at all...she was in a coccoon while the whole Dark Phoenix saga was going on...

So...YOUR Jean Grey never experienced the Dark Phoenix saga...which means this movie clashes with the comic book...so why do you want it to start matching up now?

Dead should mean DEAD!

I can only say that we want Jean Grey back because she kicks!! I mean if Wolvering had died mannnnnnn uproars would have been made. That is so stupid that anyone has to die, simply cuz the are the X-Men. Its like the whole team won't exist without one or the other. comic or no comic no one should die (of the good guys lol) in the movie. Especial not the Phoenix which would defeat the purpose of bieng the Phoenix (rising from the ashes). If death need be get one of the minor characters like Jubilee to come out and zap.
