Sequels How would you tie-in magnetos ways?

it would be nice to explain certain things....

for example...

how did magneto discover he can fly (or create something to fly him)?

what did magneto do to the guy who "marked him" (tatoo number thingy)...

why is his helmet shaped very similar to trojans helmet...

where did he get the idea of wearing a cape....

where the hell did he get that pin thats on his neck...

his experience with ball bearings(X2 prison break)...

how he got interested in chess...

what pushed him over the edge to become evil...

how would you explain all those?

how he got interested in chess...simple. I think Charles always beats him...being super intelligent. That would be even more symbolism with chess that runs through the entire saga.

Maybe in a rage when using his magnetic powers he realized he was floating then worked on it from there.

I can think of something gory with the very needles use to make the tattoos.

If there is anything about building Cerebro then the shape could help block it or he likes the style.

where did he get the idea of wearing a cape....

Maybe to add to his look after the helmet was added.

Maybe when he needed something made of metal (helmet?) and tried to use his powers to change the metal's shape and it worked.

It is a fun game, especially for megalomaniacal super villains.

Death of his wife would help him see humans will never accept his kind and I think the Holocaust helped with that.

The helmet is correlated to cerebro.. in x1 we are told magneto helped him build it so hed know how to block it.

Comicwise and I see no problem of bringing it to the movieverse because it adds more to his character.

He wasnt thinking superman thats for sure lol Magnetos cape looks like it has inspiration from emperor type of clothing.. very dignitary-esque, perhaps European. Thats definitely the direction id go in.

Hmmm...The first X-Men almost gave you the impression that he didn't start to wear a helmet and a cape until his appearance at the train station...I mean, he wasn't "Magneto" 20 years back when he was in his late 40's, early 50's (as seen in X3)..

They'll have to be careful if they're gonna be consistent with the three X-Men movies..

In the Novelization I believe it is said that he had to make ball bearings for the nazis. At least according to Bryan Singer on the commentary.

I think if this was touched upon it would be very cool.

Hmmm...The first X-Men almost gave you the impression that he didn't start to wear a helmet and a cape until his appearance at the train station...I mean, he wasn't "Magneto" 20 years back when he was in his late 40's, early 50's (as seen in X3)..

They'll have to be careful if they're gonna be consistent with the three X-Men movies..

I think a hint of Magnetos outfit to come was the suit he wore in the intro to X3... very red and magneto esque. IMO good wardrobe choice.

Gradually losing every person he ever considered "family." Most of his relatives during the Holocaust, his infant daughter in a burning building, his wife walking out on him, his falling out with Charles.
