They just got into the water, that picture is a little decieving as to his size. When you look at that full shot of them going into the water, you get a better idea of his size, he's big but he isn't that big

he comes across as angry or snappy at the dinner scene with capt stacy (or at least thats how it seemed to me) but i think after watching a few more times its been taken out of context and given the wrong impression

as for other moments i dont see how he comes across as a dick

If you look at spidey in the bullet dodge gif he's turned one way then we see him turn the other. I think the impact we are seeing is from the first shot that we only half see.

That part of him swinging after it shows Lizard go through the car, looks God awful. It looks choppy and fake as hell. It looks like a real person on a green screen and horribly done at that. The shot starts out fine but once he goes to the street and back up it just looks like ass. If you think that looks good then, okay.

Are you serious? Did you even watch it? He's swinging down towards the city at an incredibly fast rate, we the audience are following him, it's not choppy his body is moving back and forth because of the g forces his body is going through.

Nitpicks or small issues you have with the ASM movie so far.

The silver footies still annoy the piss out of me. I just find them distracting and unnecessary. Not as bad as the zipper on captain America's torso in the avengers but it still strikes me as glaringly unnecessary

Just a lil bit worried about CGI lizard. I enjoyed the Raimi/Maguire trilogy a lot, especially as a love letter to the Silver Age, but I think this one will win me over as a more "modern" Spider-man.

I don't know if Spider-Man actually does this. In the shot where we see Peter looking at it, we see a ladder on either side like someone was using them to reach up high to paint it. Peter could just scale the wall. But, the ladders might have nothing to do with it.

All we have are trailers to go off of...why would there be any comments or speculation otherwise? None of us have seen the movie. If those things are different in the movie then awesome.

No, if anything, it'll have the same numbers, roughly, that First Class had. Weren't really impressive if I remembered, but they were just fine.

Oh it's guaranteed to be way bigger than XMFC. The X-Men and Spidey have never been on the same level at the movies. Even a really bad Spidey movie is likely to outgross the best X-men movie simply because the fanbase is much larger.

You see, the dinner table scene, it seems Pete is getting snappy because of the spidey hate... and HE'S SPIDEY. He's always questioned if he should even bother doing what he does, as the public hate him. He seems to be showing frustration at Stacey... which is understandable.

If it where you, wouldn't you get frustrated?

Lolwut? Peter doesn't seem like a dick at all. He's starting out as Spidey and is risking his life doing what he's doing. If somebody comes along to criticize Spidey... obviously Peter's going to get a little snappy and pissed off by that.

Reminds me of the people who can see no good in this reboot even though it's almost perfect... xD
