Your avatar makes this quote ironicThe Lizard turning people into Lizards would be cool if the Lizard didn't look like a bad sci-fi creature from a B movie...

I hope he doesn't turn people to lizard men here
The Lizard's plots, when he's smart enough to speak about them, tend to revolve around his hate for humanity and desire to start a new hybrid species. I don't see a problem with the filmmakers staying true to the source material. If anything, what I've heard of this movie Lizard is the most accurate Sony's made a Spider-Man movie villain to their paper counterpart since the Dafoe Green Goblin. The only major change seems to be that he's naked, but I never understood in the first place why a being who hates humans and has none of their social inhibitions would wear their clothes, so it's not a deal breaker for me.
The whole IGN rewind thing was crap.
They must not know that Uncle Ben getting murdered was filmed or that Peter was bitten by a spider in the teaser. Yep, definitely shows that they're so looking forward to the movie for sure!![]()
t:Yeah, I don't think that sounds a like plan too far out of left field for this villian. The changes to the origin with Peter's parents being so involved is what gets me. Watching IGN's rewind trailer they were talking about rumors that Uncle Ben may not be killed and that his parents may have done some experiments to assist Peter into becoming Spider-man, sound much, much worse to me. This whole untold origin is what irks me, Spider-man's origin is so iconic, why mess with it.
Uncle Ben DOES die, though. That's fact.Well, no official confirmation other than those SWAT lizard men toys.

The Lizard is too massive

I hope he wears the lapcoat even in some scenes.
Here's what happened in the Exiles comic, when Connors turned into the Lizard on another earth.

I'm not a fan of Peter Parker walking around with a hood on. It's just too obvious and cliched way saying that he's a "tortured outcast". Peter Parker isn't those things, but if he is, could we at least be subtler than a sledgehammer about it?
Hmm, I guess having a hood means different things to different people. I just thought he was dressed as loads of others today are dressed...plainly.
Well, I mean, he's wearing the hood in class, looking down as he walks, et cetera. It just doesn't seem like Peter Parker to me.
He's behaving as any other introverted teenager with confidence issues would behave.
Most teenagers don't wear hoods in class. My main concern is that I don't want Peter Parker to be emo, because it's antithetical to his character.
