Again, though - according to Beenox, we are very likely to get the walkthrough video this week, so I wouldn't even bother with Activision right now.
Is your last name Parker, btw?![]()
Haha, well I sent that tweet before we knew about GDC.

Looks like the swinging in ASM2 (movie) may have taken a few queues from the ASM game:

To the person that said GDC doesn't show anything you were wrong. When ASM was there in 2012 they revealed a trailer for the game so we might get footage dudes.
Yeah they did show a trailer. So maybe we'll get the walkthrough trailer tomorrow or just a new trailer. To be honest, I'd take anything new about this game.
Yeah, the sneak peek was great! So happy to have that type of web swinging back!
Me too. Here's hoping the ASM2 game's web swinging will look good, too.
LOL, Activision responded to my tweet asking when the trailer would come, they said:
"Hello Ben, We don't have that information, Once we hear anything, We'll let everyone know. ^SB"
Yes my real name is Ben. :P
*sigh* The usual response I suppose.
Unrelated to this post entirely, but how in the hell do you have nearly 900 posts yet your membership only began two and a half months ago? I have been a member for six years and I barely have two hundred more posts than you do. You must have some lengthy back-and-forths with other members on some mystery posts. Anyways, as you were lol

And it was automatedAgreed! To be fair with Beenox here, Although the webs stuck to the sky, they nailed the animation.
Yeah....![]()

"Magic" web swinging has bothered me ever since the original Spider-Man game for the Playstation. Back then, the problem was that there would be things you should have been able to swing to, but couldn't because of invisible walls. Then they fixed that issue by the time the second movie game came out. Suddenly, if you could anchor a line to it, you could swing to or from it. These days, the games have been slowly regressing across the franchise toward magic webs.
Well I said before in this thread that after Spider-man 2 every open world Spider-man game should have web swinging like that but improve it as time goes on.
Only level based Spider-man games should have "magic swinging".
I just wanna say, look at this shot.

Can we please cancel this game, fire Beenox, get a new studio, and start work on a next gene Spidey game? GODDAMN that image is as fine as the girls in the SI Swimsuit issues.
