I wouldn't mind playing the mobile game on my computer
If it was ever ported there

That's cause that guy wasn't holding onto the webline, here's another one where he does. Still looks weird to me and the game seems unimpressive, but you can't expect much from a mobile game.

Still less entertaining than what the trailer showed
Trailer showed Web of Shadows like swinging, this video shows the TASM console game swinging style
The good thing is, this time Spidey's voice actor does not sound annoying

Its 5 bucks guys. Its 5 bucks to play a cool little spider-man game on your phone whenever you feel like it. well worth it. think about what you spend 5 bucks on. If you have an iphone I can understand not getting it, I have a Galaxy S4 and the game looks beautiful. Its a mobile game and it surpasses anything I personally thought reasonable for a mobile AND the NY in this game is more accurate than the console version of ASM1 game easily. If you are a spidey fan its a no brainer.

Those are my sentiments. People spend $5 on a burger combo without much of a second thought, but some how feel it is a dubious proposition to spend $5 on a full fledged game that will provide a good 7-10 hours of entertainment. It isn't as if this is some 2D java game from GetJar. This game is fully 3D, with a strong visual presentation. If you have a tablet, an Android phone or even an iPhone with an Apple TV, it is worth checking out. I dunno, perhaps I just think it is amazing to live in a time where games we would have paid $50 for just seven years ago, are now $1-7 on your phone.

The mobile game is actually quite good!
I'm still surprised at what I'm seeing on my Samsung Galaxy S3. It looks way better than the SM2 game on the Ps2.
Although the webs attach to the sky, it's not automatic at all. When I hold the button, he holds the web. When I release, he releases.
I'm only at 50% of chapter #1, but so far... I like what I'm experiencing!

I am seeing a trend.

- Android users are enthusiastic about the mobile title

- iOS users are skeptical

-Android users have screen sizes ranging from 4.7"-5"

- iPhone users have screen sizes ranging from 3.5"-4"

I suppose this game is a boon to people whom have phones with enough space for their thumbs to not obstruct their view.

I'd say screen size plays an important part. I have an S3 and played the first mobile game on it and felt it was just fine, no real issues. But, I then later played it on someone's iPad and whoa, what a difference. That's the best way to go for these mobile games. It was a much better overall playing experience.

The mobile game is awesome! My first mobile game to. The only problem I'm having with it, is for some reason the Swing button keeps getting stuck. Spidey will just stay stuck to one web and swing back and forth instead of shooting a new web to keep going lol.

Also, and this may sound dumb. But since this is my first mobile game, and I usually play consoles only..Is there a way to save my game, or is that not even how it works on the mobile version?

The game autosaves after you complete a mission, be it a story mission (chapter mission) or a crime side mission.

Someone on the X-Men days of future past iMDB page has put up a link to a bootleg cam quality video of TASM2

darn piracy

before anyone says it i am aware i posted that in the wrong thread

anyway i reported it and its not there for me anymore but dunno if its actually gone

I.....almost did NOT have the willpower. I do not understand why someone would post that. Bastards. I let MY people know....

I downloaded the mobile game. Pretty good so far. It looks like my phone isn't powerful enough to pull off some of the FX (motion blur is non-existent), but it still looks a lot better than the first one did on my phone. The city also feels bigger.

Gameloft seems to have done much better this time around with handling the Android version of the game. My phone can't even properly run the first game. Textures don't load, there is heavy draw in and pop up. Some models don't even render (people and buildings will often appear as wireframes). All of those graphical issues, and the game still chugs at a sloppy 10-15fps. It was quite mind-boggling, because I used to have an iPhone 4 and the game ran just fine on that device, yet my LG Optimus G, which is more than twice as powerful as the iPhone 4, would just choke.

That experience made me skeptical about the second game, but none of the Playstore reviews seemed to feature complaints about a poor or slow experience. So I chanced it and it seems that Gameloft understood the necessity of platform optimization. This game runs very smooth.

Yah people are throwing out bootleg links on YouTube also on the days of future past credit scene uploaded today

Boooooo!
