I was talking about the web swinging not being revolutionary. Of course SM2 was revolutionary for its time with being the first open world hero game. But the swinging was very basic if you look back at it. It was fun but I even prefer the one found in TASM2 to it because it lacked swinging animations and didn't obey the laws of physics that much (you could float in certain points while swinging which instantly destroyed all immersion for me).
Sure it was revolutionary for its time but games like SM3 or WoS topped it IMO (although SM3 sacrificed speed for realism). The double webline feature they had was also incredibly hacky so I never bothered using it.
And was for SM3 being expensive, that probably has to do with the fact that it's not being produced anymore. Same goes to Shattered Dimensions etc., prices rise due to license being gone ending all support for them.
But that game came 10 years ago.
I think I'll be doing this from now on.I'm just playing this for free roam.
The Kingpin fight is very hard, much harder than it needs to be. I felt like I
needed a 3rd hand...
so i was curious to know if the graphics differed from the ps3 to ps4 version? i currently just have my ps3
What's so hard in this fight? There is a simple way to defeat him by using seismic web and then dodging his charge so that he gets stuck into the wall and becomes vulnerable to your attacks. It suffice to repeat these steps a few times and Kingpin goes down.
Is the city better than in the last game? Does it feel like a New York?
How is the draw distance? Can you see the mast of the Empire State Building from a far?Much better but still not perfect. Yes it feels kind of like NYC.
I have the PS4 version pre-ordered but didn't get it yet. I hope that is very close to the PC version.Possibly on PC but definetely not on Xbox 360 judging from the videos I've seen.
Graphics are actually acceptable on PC at full settings, stuff starts to look wonderful!

Is that fog there for the entire game? I hope not. Reminds me of the Spider-Man on PS1.There was a guy on NeoGAF who had the PS4 version and posted a few screens:

The Auto-aim for one, It either locks constantly onto Kingpin or not at all. What's so hard in this fight?
