Can you climb up a webline? Beenox stated on Facebook that you can do this by holding jump, but I haven't heard anything about it since.
 
Oh wow, that looks really nice, still youtube does make things look a bit worse, even in 1080p, so that means that the game in person will look slightly better. Meaning this game looks sweet, its going to be a joy swinging around a city like that. Definatly going to get a lot of web slinging playtime out of this one

I wish there was more of an "event" at gamestop. I went in and asked today and no one had any clue what was happening tomorrow. hell they didnt even realize Spider-Man dropped tomorrow.

I asked about the "tickets" and the clerk mentioned they only do reservation tickets for midnight releases... I had to explain they were MOVIE tickets, to see the amazing Spider-man 2 FILM. *facepalm* lol

Unless your in a high traffic, hot spot location like NYC, or somewhere, they will surely half-ass it. Ill get my game, DLC and tickets and leave tomorrow morning in 5 minutes. whatever. Nobody wants to stick around for anything like that at a lame gamestop lol. I would if they cared.
 
My gamestop is in a big city, Peoria Il actually. They don't do anything big except for AAA games that have a lot of preorders, basically COD Halo etc. All the other midnights are boring, if they even have one.
 
What the $@#$ I turned on Netflix to watch the 1990s spiderman cartoon and its gone!!!
 
I thought I heard that it was gone quit some time ago?

Yup, been gone for months. along with a few other classics, like X-Men!

I still think they have the MTV series up there, I forget lol.
 
No need to get mad about it, we are all spidey fans. Just didn't notice it got removed. Pointing out that the post was pointless is also pointless.

Actually you might the able to climb, its just that no one is doing it, and or knows how to do it. It might be a subtle little thing like the YoYo was in Spider-man 1

In this video at 1:12:23 - 1:12:26 Look close at Spideys Hands, he switches them as if he's ascending the web line, maybe whatever he's pushing there needs to be held in to climb the web?

Im not sure, but i noticed it.

Likely its just another hiccup in the **** animation transitioning. *shrug*

With that said, It does look great, its def the best looking Spider-Man game to date IMO. The graphics aren't as detailed as a Batman game sure, But why compare? It looks great for what it is. Only downfall is the lack of civilians on the streets TBH. New york can be shoulder to shoulder most times, especially in Times Square.
 
Is it me or is the difference between ps4 and 360 barely noticeable?I can only get it for 360.

It's because it was developed for the ps3/360 and ported up to the new generation. Beenox wanted to have the same level of quality through all of the systems.

Though I will be curious to see a head to head with last gen and current gen versions, because I don't see much of a diference. I'm suspecting the frame rate might be a little better it seems.
 
So just a heads up for people the Xbox One version is available digitally on the store. People have downloaded it and are playing it as we speak, lots of screen tearing in that version and I don't know how it was put up on the store yet.
 
One thing I know will kinda annoy me with this game is that Spidey is just as talkative as he was in the last game while web swinging. In fact, they made it more annoying...because now he says things if you press the web swing button with nothing around to swing on. Such as:

"This just in, webs need something to stick to."

Urgh...thanks Beenox...

At least he makes quips instead of just going "WHOO HOO" or "YEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAHHH" or "AAAAALLLLLLRRRIIGGHHT"

Yeah I wanted to buy a ps4 but for now I'll not.Looks like I don't lose anything with the 360 version.
 
BTW seeing some walkthrough videos this looks like an improvement over the first which I really liked.

Lol. Yeah I asked someone a couple weeks ago and they didn't know what I was talking about. Apparently it's supposed to be every gamestop but the person told me it's probably only NYC. I'm going to check anyway though.
