Wow, I haven't been on these boards in years... Signed in just because a new free roaming spidey game excites me.


Also, how about adding weather effects to game already? Would be pretty cool swinging through the rain.

Man it just makes me sick how much of the potential that the next consoles bring, this game isn't gonna use.

Well, the panel includes some other annoucements (maybe an X-Men game too) along with some other Marvel games, so I'm guessing that TASM 2 is the big main event of the panel and it's placed at the end.

But yeah, max 2 hours left.

That pic looks freakin gorgeous im excited to hear about improvements and it seems Cash got the realistic system to them

Man, you would think the swinging would be using some type of physics system where as you swing, the web streches and bends depending on your speed, weight and angle, so that each swing is never the same, that to me would be ideal, but I know this would be pretty much impossible as it's only a movie tie in game, also I would really like smoother animation, the last game was... ughhhh.

^ I love that right there and I loved that they did it in TASM it was amazing seeing the web do that and you could hear it zipping through the wind. If they ever do its an instant buy for me but i'll keep my expectations low I was alittle let down

Thing is, will they ignore TASM 1 game Rhino? Will they ignore TASM 1 game entirely?

They'll probably ignore the TASM1 game entirely. Movie tie-ins often do that a lot.

They don't have to, they could simply say the Rhino from TASM1 was a normal cross species rhino.

But is that the only issue you have with continuity? What about manhatten being hell v2.0? I think they either reboot their universe by doing the same they did with TASM (fresh start after TASM2 story without any ties to the previous game) or they say "ok, manhatten was broken and the rhino we saw was a simple cross species" and set it after the movies story.
