So, Marvel is planning on doing Planet Hulk, and I've even heard rumors of them doing Marvel Zombies. It sounds to me like they are starting to get out of doing just team-ups (Ultimate Avengers) and character origins (Iron Man, Doctor Strange).
I think it sounds great.
I think that they sould do stuff like Civil War, and the Death of Captain America as a sequel, Age of Apocalypse, and Secret Wars.

Oh, and Runaways. They just have to.

Runaways would be AMAZING.

And they actually started them with storylines, adapting the first volume of the Ultimates for the Ultimate Avengers DVD...they just didnt do a very good job with it.

I'd like to see Secret Wars.

Someone also suggested Marvels recently, which would be excellent.

If DC does Kingdom Come, Marvel should do Earth-X.

or an armor wars adaptation
even better adapt the iron fist seven cites of heaven storyline:bow:

How bout this...Marvel 1602. It's a nice self-contained story. I could see Marvel pulling it off.

I'd love to see Secret Wars and Civil War!

Secret Wars would be a dream come true.

That would get my vote. I wonder if any of the TV deals they have in place interfere with these Lionsgate projects? Secret Wars just wouldn't be the same without Spider-Man, X-Men or Iron Man.

I'm a solid Marvel man but I just saw Justice League: The New Frontier and thought it was quite good. From the DVD extras, I gather that the story was taken almost directly from the book. It proves that direct storylines do translate well.

I guess I'm one of the few who hates the Marvel Zombies. I also couldn't get through Marvel 1602.

I dont think the TV deals would affect these at all, as Marvel does these in house. And they do own the characters.

i also don't care for marvel zombies
i had to ask my lcs not to hold issues copies with marvel zombie varient covers

They should only adapt the stories if they can have a decent running time. I think the New Frontier adaptation from DC suffered because they tried to cram a two hour story into 75 minutes.

Do you have a source for the 2 movies you mention? Planet Hulk and Marvel Zombies?

Planet Hulk is confirmed, it was listed for 2010 on Marvel's recent quarterly financial update. Marvel Zombies is just a rumour, and I don't see it happening, personally; way too bloody, even for a DTV, since they want to sell these to kids.

I would definitely like an Earth X adaptation.

Blader also mentioned Annihilation, definitely up for that.

House of M- Avengers was cool. That might work.

Tomb of Dracula could be cool too

They could also start to give these movies some quality too. Treat them like real movies, not DTV.

Yeah, the past four have been treated like tv episodes. The DC ones may not be the best things ever, but they've been a hell of a lot better than Marvel's. Animation, writing, and voice talent have all been better in DC's.

Screw the kids . I'm sure they can handle a bit of the old ultraviolence.
I want some Marvel Zombie cartoons.

Kids could totally handle that s***. It's the parents of those kids that flip a b**** the second theres one drop of blood on screen.

it'll be crappy anyways. they F'ed up the "ultimate Avengers" big time. crappy voice acting, crappy animation.

yes they are. you just listed why!

They would indeed be the best things ever...if they had a longer running time than 70 minutes. The stories are too compressed, theres not enough plot development.

Now, bump it up to 90-120 minutes, then they will be the best.
