yeah i'm working on it-i really need a whole range of shades of greys an blacks-but they're proving hard to find cheers on the drawing part though!drawing's always been my main thing so i'm trying out different ways to shade-as you can see this one's crosshatching crap o yeah it's nightcrawler revamped by the way!

the toadman evolution style with my madeup character whitecrawler, so they seem a bit squished together which i honestly hadn't realised til a few minutes ago so i'll look for the in the future an i apologise for the pencil texture-i used watercolour paper my accident

oh yeah just wanna say i wanted to pay homage to the old toad so gave evo Todd here Mortimor's belt (he may or may not have it on in the comics-i got the reference for the belt from the xmen gallery thread!)

I like the costume on the first one, I like the gesture too, but he's missing his nose. You might want to try and take a little more time with the cross hatching and build it up a little more.

You're right the toad and whitecrawler look a little stretched in the torso but it's not bad.

thanks i really like the way his costume came out, yeah i always worry about noses going hugely wrong for some reason so i tend to reduce them to nostrils to get rid of the problem-but you're right i need a new way it's just taking the easy way out!well i've only just started using crosshatching as my means of shading so i'll keep trying to perfect it-i hadn't thought about doing it through building it up so thank you i'll try!an cheers i'm glad you think it's not bad!

the first image the nightcrawler is the best but i believe you need to define things like the way you gona put shadows and colors, like in the last one you put shadows in dots, and in the air don have the same sahdow stile if you gona put shados in diferent ways try to justify that like a diferent shadow because a texture of the clothes or spmething like that try to contrast the draw you scan, so the white be plane and dont see the market's ways, also try to color in the computer, or add more tones to your color, like the last put some orange n the red for the laights etc.

you keep draw and draw and draw, the practice do the master, try to donwload some photosho tutorial, or colorin tutorials, i like your stile is like americanmanga, you keep draw try to ink whit pincel and pen ink, and thanks for your comments i mi tread, sorry for my bad inglish hope you understal all i said.

yeah pretty much!it's an honor to have a comment from you, you are my favourite artist by a long shot on here!i have a few indian relatives so i'm fairly good with broken english as it is!i've never drawn anything properly on the computer, i tend to prefer people's own handywork to their mouses but they all look good-a mix is always the best so i will definately give colouring a go when i have more time. I was worried my manga obsession might slip in-i really want to have two styles-western an eastern but oh well!thank you soooo much for the tips on shading, it'll all be taken into account!
