"The Batman" - We Like It.

Lujho, about how The Batman's face is not "anatomically correct". Take a good look at how his face is in any of the BTAS versions. The proportions are WAY off. His eyes, nose and mouth are too close to the top of his head, and in real life his chin would be about 6 inches below his mouth. It's just as anatomically off as The Batman's. And if anything, The Batman's body is drawn much more realistically. All this is moot, anyhow, it's all about artistic license and individual style. A matter of taste. I like both.

Oh ,BTW, Dark Guardian, this idea of yours that no true Batman fan would watch The Batman is a load of garbage.

Way to completely misread my post.

I didn't say the whole design was "anatomically correct" (why put quote marks around that when I didn't even use the term?)... and of course a stylised drawing doesn't correspond exactly to real anatomy.

What I did say was that in season 1,2 and 3 of The Batman, the way Bruce's eye and cheekbone looked in a 3/4 view looked fundamentally anatomically incorrect - because it was, even taking in to account that it's a stylized design.

The new design now better corresponds to real anatomy - again, taking into account that it's a stylized design.

I didn't say anything about the rest of his face's proportions, or his body, and how they might compare to the BTAS version(s). I would never call the BTAS versions anatomically realistic, any more than I would The Batman, apart from the one specific example of the relation of the eye to the cheekbone in 3/4 view on the designs in The Batman, which ARE fundamentally anatomically inaccurate when compared to both reality and other animation models. And sure, it's simply a stylistic choice, there's hypothetically no wrong wrong right, but it didn't look particularly good to me because it was so weird and inaccurate.

The Batman has his own forum and I don't like the show. BTAS rocks!
Right on! I tried really giving that cartoon a chance but it just is not Batman in anyway.

I have just seen the first 2 eps of season 4 and it's great, Batman acts like he should and Robin looks great.

Say what you will, but I sure as hell am not going to watch it, and I know ALOT of people who won't (And when I say alot I don't mean five or six, not even ten or twenty, I'm talking in the fifties and sixties here)
My original premise still stands.
People who are angry at BTAS fans really have nothing to say that makes a difference.
The Batman simply is not as good as The Animated Series.
That is a fact that cannot be changed.
Whether you like it or not, thats how it is.
Yelling at BTAS fans because they do not approve of a crappier, badly drawn, badly written version of a show that came before is just plain dumb.
The essence of competition is making something better than what came before.
If WB is stupid enough to make something worse than what came before, thats their problem.
So don't yell at people for simply sticking to what has better quality.

Once again, the analogy.
By your logic, we should feel perfectly fine eating at McDonalds, cherishing it for being good food, after just consuming a Five Star meal at the South Sea's Club.

Sorry boyo, but that just doesn't cut it for me.
