Drama The Bear (HULU/FX)

Can someone explain me What makes "The Bear" a comedy?
I started the first season back in the day. Didn't liked it, quited in the middle of the season, was not entertained by it and 100% didn't find it amusing or funny. In fact i found it very dramatic.

See, you had me at the first part and then you let it take a turn…

Wild watching some old clips of Shameless after watching this and The Iron Claw and realizing that Lip was probably Jeremy Allen White’s most lighthearted role.

Finally catching up with season 3. I have enjoyed it overall but Ice Chips which I watched tonight has been the stand out episode so far.

Damn. But on the other hand, production for this show is so low key that they could probably turn it around in a few months if they really wanted.

They always start production and filming around February through April. It's very old school tv how they keep churning seasons.

Honestly, probably for the best. I still really enjoyed season 3, but I think Storer and co. could use a little extra time to really nail the story for the final season.

To me season 3 felt like a "Part 1 of 2" kind of thing like it'll all flow better when paired with season 4.

Also it just dawned on me that the reason for the delay in shooting is because of Ebon Moss Bachrach filming F4.

“Jamie Lee Curtis wins best guest actress—”

YEESSSSSSS

“—for comedy”

*fifteen second long sigh* … sure, let’s go with that.

I was hoping that Odenkirk would take Guest Actor because even though it's still early to tell, Bernthal might also have that one in the bag for S3E6 next year. He totally deserved it for Fishes though.

Yeah man I think he and Jamie Lee both have it sewn up for next year again. 'Ice Chips' was too good.
