Carmy at the end of episode 7.

Halfway into the first episode and this show is ****ing intense and I’m loving every minute of it.

Yea the hype was not overblown on this one. Freaking fantastic first episode and Jermey is so intense in the eyes just like his role as Lip and the cast is great as well. 7 episodes to go.

Take a look at the mfs on Twitter and get back to me on that
........................................................................................maybe .01%, sure.
Well **** I’m not haha. I just watch the movies and that’s it. I don’t praise Snyder like he’s the greatest filmmaker that ever existed or stuff like that even though I enjoy some of his movies.

There's the distinction between being a fan of the Snyder Cut and being a "Snyder Cut Fan." Plenty of people enjoy his films without doing **** like spamming polls and trolling all other DC projects and artists.

True but that’s not what I am lol I just made a comment but anyway The Bear is pretty great so far.

I'm so far behind on my fave shows and new seasons are starting every week but y'all are getting me so hyped for this.
The first episode grabs you and doesn’t let go and from what I’ve read on here about the rest of the season it’s the same feeling throughout.

I caught up with The Bear this past weekend. Really good for a quick binge but the standouts to me were episodes 4 (the kids' birthday party) and 7 (the intense single shot episode). The Xanax-spiked Ecto Cooler had me dying but that seventh episode was just perfection.

What are people’s thoughts on Sydney? Based on what I’ve read online, she’s not well liked. But then her defenders think any criticism of her is purely based on the fact she’s a black woman.

Personally, I liked her in the beginning. She was fighting an uphill battle to get the kitchen in order. But then in episode 7, she messes up the ordering system, stabs a co-worker, and then leaves her other co-workers high and dry.

She then comes back, along with Marcus, and we don’t see either apologize to Carmy. He owned his actions and words and apologized. But the way she waltzed back in and acted like she did nothing wrong left a bad taste in my mouth.

Outside Carmy, she's the one I'm most invested. I'm interested in her journey and ambition to become a chef.

And her not apologizing didn't bother me. As I remember the events, I don't think she needed. She made a mistake and Carmy's reaction was unnecessary. She stabbed that guy by accident and wasn't him like annoying/bullying her? (I don't recall).

I worked with bosses that harrass and bully people, so I took her side.

Y'all started a Bear thread WITHOUT ME?

How dare you

Anyway, ****ing masterpiece, my personal show of the year and might be in my top 3 ever made. This entire show is a goddamn masterclass in pacing, editing and camera work
Just catching up on this show. It is ****ing amazing. It's so wonderful to actually see a restaurant drama done right. It feels like a glorious spiritual successor to Bourdain's memoir, Kitchen Confidential.
